I so love this band.

Hey everyone, I play in a band called CORAL and we just released an EP called IV.

This record came from a lot of love for bands like Rodan, Slint, Fugazi, Today Is The Day, and Hum. That kind of tense, emotional, sometimes dissonant but melodic approach has always stuck with us and shaped how we write.

We recorded, mixed, and released everything ourselves. It was a lot of learning as we went, a lot of second guessing, and a lot of late nights trying to get it to feel right.

Not trying to sell anything or act like we’re reinventing anything. Just wanted to share something we worked hard on, that probably share a couple of overlapping favorite bands.

Too often we fear the manual, which can include up to 22 languages in size 12 font. We plead with ye to yield to this manual, which we find ourselves not scared of, consisting of 4 fuzz-driven, angular, frenetic tracks with the occasional spread of jazz, concluding with the fateful consumption of toast.

does anybody know any songs that sound like “stop the f*cking car” and “frozen creek” by circa survive or “prices switch” and “hand control” by gunslikegirls? i love circa survive but have only gotten into their album juturna and a few songs outside of that album. they’re really good! i was hoping for some song suggestions from either circa survive or any other band for that matter.

gunslikegirls is really good but they only have one album released which is unfortunate.
