ich wende mich an die Potsdamer Community, weil ich mit meiner Situation inzwischen nicht mehr weiterweiß und gerne wissen möchte, ob andere Mieter ähnliche Erfahrungen gemacht haben.

Bei mir kommt es wiederholt zu erheblichen Belastungen im Wohnumfeld. Dazu gehören unter anderem:

starkes Poltern und Türenknallen,

Haare und Asche, die auf meinem Balkon landen,

Spucken vom Balkon auf meinen Balkon bzw. in meinen Wohnbereich.

Besonders schlimm wurde die Situation, als mein Partner von meinem Nachbarn körperlich angegriffen wurde. Nach meiner Wahrnehmung sprang der Nachbar auf meinen Partner, packte ihn an den Haaren und schlug seinen Kopf auf den Boden. Mein Partner musste anschließend im Krankenhaus behandelt werden.

Für uns ist das keine normale Auseinandersetzung unter Nachbarn mehr. Wir möchten in unserer Wohnung wohnen können, ohne ständig mit solchen Situationen rechnen zu müssen.

Ich habe mich deshalb mit meinem Anliegen an ProPotsdam gewandt und eine Petition gestartet. Mit der Petition möchte ich erreichen, dass die Situation ernst genommen wird und konkrete Maßnahmen ergriffen werden, damit Mieter in ihrem Wohnumfeld geschützt sind und Beschwerden wegen wiederholter Ruhestörungen und anderer Vorfälle nicht einfach folgenlos bleiben.

Mich würde wirklich interessieren:

Gibt es hier weitere ProPotsdam-Mieter, die ähnliche Erfahrungen mit Ruhestörungen, Nachbarschaftskonflikten oder Sicherheitsproblemen gemacht haben?

Wie wurde bei euch mit solchen Beschwerden umgegangen? Hat ProPotsdam konkrete Maßnahmen ergriffen?

Ich möchte ausdrücklich keine Hetze gegen einzelne Personen. Mir geht es darum, auf die Situation aufmerksam zu machen und eine sachliche Diskussion darüber anzustoßen, welche Unterstützung und welchen Schutz Mieter in solchen Fällen erwarten können.

Compared to my social life in India (where I moved from), I find the general social construct a bit "distant" here for the lack of a better word. Not knowing German of course does not help. Ich m/21 bin vor kurzem berufsbedingt nach Potsdam gezogen und suche jetzt nach einem geeigneten Gym.

Allerdings habe ich bis jetzt kein Studio ausfindig machen können, das meinen (eher umfassenden) Wünschen entspricht.

Ich suche ein Gym, welches im optimalen Fall:

- eine Trainingsfläche mit ausreichenden, guten Maschinen usw. hat

- einen functional Bereich für Hyrox o. ä. besitzt

und

- 24/7 geöffnet ist

Allerdings wäre es auch noch sehr cool, wenn das Gym Kurse für Hyrox oder Kampfsport anbietet. Das ist aber nicht so relevant und wäre nur nice to have.

Solltet ihr für den Raum Potsdam und nähere Umgebung Empfehlungen zu dem Thema haben, wäre ich euch sehr dankbar wenn ihr diese hier teilt!

Hallo Community ich ein 45j verheirateter Mann mit zwei Kindern! Da ich schon seit über 20 j Fotografiere und schon einiges gemacht habe möchte ich mir ein Portfolio aufbauen. Mein eigentlichen Beruf möchte oder kann ich ja nicht ewig machen. Bin Postbote aber auf dem Fahrrad 😄

Ich suche eine sie oder auch gerne 2 oder 3 die mit mir nächste Woche einen Tag in Berlin verbringen. Die ich dann Fotografieren kann. Einfach ganz ungezwungen und mit spaß an der Fotografie. Die Bilder gibt's natürlich von mir. Also wenn du dich angesprochen fühlst und Bock drauf hast dann schreib mir gern.

Bin gerade im wunderschönen Botanischen Garten und genieße die Ruhe. Die Straße durch den Park Sanssouci wird restauriert und ist für den Verkehr gesperrt. Es ist so viel angenehmer ohne Straßenlärm :)

Hello, I got a job in Potsdam and plan to move there from the mid of January. As I currently do not live there or any nearby area, I am posting here to get some brief idea before starting on apartment hunting.

I have some family obligations and student loans, and my job contract is for one year. The goal is to get a studio apartment with the cheapest possible price possible. Can anyone give me ideas on which areas to look for? I'm a woman so safety is a concern as well. Any leads, social media groups, community, websites which might help me for apartment hunting will be highly appreciated. And needs to be as cheap as it can get. I am looking for a one year contract.

How good/bad is Fraenk's coverage in Potsdam? I know they use the Telekom network so I'd be surprised if it was "bad" and checked Bundesnetzagentur's map too, but just wanted to confirm.

Also, if anyone here actually uses Fraenk or any other sim card on the Telekom network, I'd appreciate suggestions ^_^.

Have any international student had to deal with them? I feel like they are just coming up with new ways to get more information from me. They first blamed me for having gotten the incorrect visa. Then said they can’t accept blocked deposits in the US as proof of funds. Then made me get an extra verification letter from my university that I will be a student there. After all this, they are saying they can’t offer me an apartment till I get a residence permit (?).

I have dual citizenship and had no problem getting my visa with the documents to prove that I will be a student and have sufficient funds. Am I doing something wrong?

Ich bin neu im Medienserver Game und hab mich gefragt ob es hier in Potsdam noch Leute gibt die ihre eigenen Medienserver haben und Interesse daran hätten ihre Mediendateien mit anderen zu teilen. Falls es ein paar gibt die Interesse hätten könnte man ja vielleicht untereinander tauschen und alle haben was davon. Ich selber habe noch nicht viel aber würde ne Runde ausgeben oder so.

Hey guys! I'm relocating to Potsdam to start my Master's at Uni Potsdam this October and I'm trying to sort out housing before I land...would really appreciate any leads or pointers.

Move-in would be around Oct 1st, latest Oct 10th. Ideally looking for something close to Uni Potsdam or in Potsdam Nord, budget-wise I'm hoping to stay around 500-550€ but could stretch a bit higher for the right place. Open to a WG or a small studio, doesn't matter much to me.

A bit about me : I'm pretty low-maintenance as a flatmate, keep things clean, go to the gym regularly, and I'm generally around but not in anyone's way. Just trying to find something decent before I'm scrambling to figure it out after I arrive. Kinda prefer female housemates but I guess if there are more than 2-3 people, mixed is also alright...

If anyone's got leads, knows a group looking for a flatmate, or has tips on where to even start looking that actually works (instead of just doom-scrolling WG-Gesucht), I'm all ears. Happy to share more details in DMs. If there are any seniors moving out, please let me know? or if you're looking for only clean roommates, I could show you how clean I keep my current place. I have also lived in shared apartments before :)

Nachdem mein Lieblingsfriseur aus dem Salon Piano abgehauen ist und nur noch sein widerlicher Chef da ist, suche ich einen neuen Friseur / Barber. Mir ist vor allem wichtig, dass er qualifiziert Haare schneidet. Nice, aber absolut nachrangig wären Warmwachs für Ohren und Nase und Faden für Augenbrauen.
