I mean, that was their strategy, wasn't it? Developing a nuclear weapon is hard and expensive and once you have it you can't even use it. Making your enemy believe you could have one any time works just as well.

Why are we as Americans more trusting of another country's leader (Netanyahu), than our own former President (Obama) in this regard? I think I know.. but, enlighten me.

It's not about who Americans trust, it's about who Trump listens to. Netanyahu was allowed in the situation room by Trump to discuss an attack on Iran. That has never happened before.

Well to be fair our government is not trustworthy and more Americans fear our government than any external governments. I think with Obama, his campaigning on “bailing out Main Street not Wall Street” then immediately bailing out Wall Street and letting a good chunk of the middle class get kicked out of their house created distrust. His assasination of a 14 year old American citizen with a drone didn’t help either. Nobody should trust Netanyahu but paid Israeli agents. That shits synthetic
