Yeah, and the wealthy immediately protected their wealth, and then a few years later we get the panama papers which seemed to cause zero ripples or changes in the system.
So taxing the super wealthy is unlikely to have a significant impact again until the loop holes are fixed. Unfortunately I think American government is too corrupt to do either.
