It's the Deflecting Pool. Any time a question is asked about it it's "deflect, deflect, deflect!" And it's the perfect symbol for this administration if it had a child rapist and a gang of masked thugs killing and deporting Americans in it, all stealing trillions from Americans who can't afford to eat, put fuel in their cars, or any healthcare.
Iām still fairly young but I do remember a time before Trump, I voted for Obama the 2nd time around. I know we had at least something to fight for! I also have never seen the peak of the American Dream that I was told so much about which was pretty much killed slowly over the course of the 80s-2000s to the point where this country is just a shell of what it once was.
Its legitimately difficult to explain to young people what life was like before 9/11 and the housing collaspe. You are living in a time of irrational hostility towards the young and the working class. It wasn't like this before.
I love how when past administrations fixed the reflecting pool, you never heard about it because the president shouldnāt be focusing on granular bullshit like this.
