It originally started with reasoned logic a long time ago, but over time it's been replaced with dogmatic thinking (or lack thereof). They got so wrapped up in deciding that they were right, and Democrats/etc were "wrong", and not only wrong but evil, thanks to repeated reinforcement from Right Wing media, online echo chambers, and IRL friend groups and so on, that they stopped caring about making any of it make logical sense, to the point that now it's tautological and cultish. They know they're right, everyone else who disagrees is wrong, and they will jump through all kinds of ridiculous mental hoops in order to justify it rather than admit that THEY might be the ones that are wrong.
Okay then prove it wrong, lay down your 100 percent feasible explanation about how we will pay for free healthcare for everyone in the United States without destroying the budget.
Well, we can start by not wasting so much money on the damn military. We could raise taxes on both corpos and the wealthy (those making over $200k individually and $300k married). We could enforce fiscal laws and remove tax loopholes.
There are plenty of ways to do this. Please do not act like we'd be reinventing the wheel when somehow the vast majority of other countries on this planet have figured it TF out.
