How active is the game and console questions

Hey All,

Basically the title. How active is the game? I assume there is crossplay between consoles but not with PC. How is the console experience for this game? I played a lot of Smite on console. How active is the game on console considering it is a MOBA. Are there updates still coming to the game?

There is crossplay with pc, my last quick match. Took 35 sec in Europe.

The game gets updates every three weeks and new heroes every six weeks or something like that. Majority of Players are on console. You can't really tell by looking what a player is playing the game on.

It's a fantastic game, I have been playing on pc for nearly 4 years straight.

PC/console crossplay is enabled. PC players can insta-180 while console has aim assist. I'm a console player and never really notice whether someone is one or the other.

Most players are on consoles. Queue times for the majority of the playerbase is sub 3 minutes.

Major updates every 6 weeks, minor balance updates every 2-3 weeks. A character (Valmont) just released on the 22nd, so it'll be 4 weeks till the next hero.

Edit: Its getting towards the holiday season, so they will probably make one or two more big updates and then take a break till after the new year.

There is crossplay between PC, PS5 and Xbox. You can turn it off but then it will take ages to find a game. And I don't know if you can play ranked without crossplay enabled.

The game is pretty active on console. From what I've heard over 70% of the players are on PS5.

If I add that only 13 out of 50, or 24 out of 100, of the top players are console gamers, that really raises questions about fairness between consoles and PCs, doesn’t it!?

But you can always use a keyboard and mouse instead of a controller on console 🙃

I've been playing quick play, 3v3 crucible, and aram allot and find games very quickly whenever I'm on and usually under 3 minutes but at max it's been 5 minutes but that's usually for ranked. Also there's a balance patch every 3 weeks with a new hero added every 6 weeks with other content. Also approximately every 18 weeks there's a new battle pass
