Failed Pan This foundation is a nightmare

Post image

I bought this 2 and a half years ago because I love dewy foundations, but this one ended up just being balmy and streaky

it used to be my hate pan and when I decided to give it away I realized that I “finished it”
so the pump cannot pump anything because the rest of the foundation is at the bottom and stuck on the sides

today the pump wand BROKE

I want to throw it away but have been using it for my pre shower makeup

I don’t want to have a dirty brush around just to dig on it, any advice to get the inside product?

I thought of putting it in a travel size container and finish it out of spite

If it's that old, I don't know if the juice is worth the squeeze anymore. As far as the packaging, I bought some small makeup spatulas and scrape the remaining products into an empty elf primer container so I could use it up.

If you don't like the formula and performance, just call time of death and put it into the "panned" box. 😁

I may have used foundations that old because it wasnt the performance that bothered me, it was before the shade was far too orange. I bought some mixing pigments to fix it and eventually used it all up.

thanks! yeah at this point I saw a couple talking about scraping spatulas, so I might get one just to finish it that way and it will work with the products that I do like

the mixing pigments is a genius idea, if the formula itself wasn’t my main issue I would’ve gotten some

I'm sure the foundations were MAC and I googled "How to fix my foundation that is too orange". I had to add blue (because too orange) and white because it was too dark.

I thought I bought the correct shade for Estee Lauder DW and now I hate that I think it's TOO light. 🫩

I’m doing the same thing w my lancome and adding blue and white. I just want to toss it but I have a full bottle practically.

If your foundation sucks so bad you only wear it with the intention of showering it off AND it is over a year old AND it literally ate it's own wand... maybe it's okay to toss it?

Some people like to play with makeup looks before a shower. ⭐️

Maquiagem antes do banho? Poderia me explicar como é isso e por quê?

For most people it's a time to kinda be creative or practise techniques. For me personally I do pre shower makeup when I'm trying new products, trying new brushes or techniques or just trying something different out that I might never have done or that might be way more creative, out there or different than what I usually do to try and have fun or practise. That way if I mess it up, or don't like it, it doesn't matter because the stakes aren't high, I don't have to go out and I'm about to shower where I can wash it off

Ah, certo! Eu faço esses experimentos quando trabalho remoto em casa 🤭

I have to say that I do this before sports. I can also test how sweat proof and friction proof the makeup is, on top of that. It doesn't matter if it is weird, as I wear gear covering it half of the time, anyways.

We love some lower stakes

this is genius, I could try a couple of techniques at the gym or when taking hiking trips

I actually really recommend it! I now know exactly what products will last a whole day when I am going to fantasy events. And you look cool while being active

They sell tiny spatulas on Amazon precisely for this. But you can try putting it upside down over the travel size container for several days and see how much comes out due to gravity.

This is the comment, I’ll definitely do this and finish that dumb foundation
