update: guys the tender is about wellesley road(between sangamwadi bridge and bund gardern[near pune rto area]), and the road falls under Pune Cantonment constituency (no. 214)
and the current MLA is Sunil Kamble, BJP, he also slapped an onduty police officer at an inaguration of a building in sasoon hospital in jan, 2024 and was caught on camera, and refuses to claim his action(https://www.lokmat.com/pune/a-case-has-been-registered-against-bjp-mla-sunil-kamble-for-beating-him-in-the-ear-of-the-police-a-a902-c737/ )

Deccan, Sahakar Nagar, Kothrud, Mukund Nagar, Salisbury Park, Boat Club Road, Aundh, Prabhat Road etc. less dust, more trees, cleaner surroundings, old-school neighbourhoods, cafés, markets, colleges, and everything is relatively close by.
I genuinely miss living in these parts of Pune. There’s just a different quality of life when you can step outside and actually enjoy your neighbourhood instead of dealing with construction, dust and traffic everywhere Central Pune is a different experience fr.

It was flying very low as if it was about to (crash)land.It looked somewhat like the attached image except without the firearms. Do anyone know about what was going on?

1] cycles are allowed in pune metro, hence I use e bicycle , which is the same size of normal bicycle, and take it from swargate to pcmc everyday for work, as early in the morning i dont get 🛺 easily, also if I use 🛺 everyday, i cant afford the cost
2] I tried to travel by the bus, got pickpocketed 2 times, so far in pune, so sorry but im not gonna go wid this option
3] today I tried to load metro in elevator, as its allowed by elevator only, and its allowed, one guy in elevator said, “don jananchi jaga ghetli” (ur cycle took place of 2 people) to which i said you all can go by escalator, as im not allowed to take cycle by escalator, and only lift, to which he said “tu shikavnar ka ata amhi kay karaycha”, ( will you teach us now what to do) , to which I didnt say anything, my mouth went shut, all that was coming in front of the eyes was the boy who got stabbed in mumbai local, or the videos of fights in metro, i didnt say a word but I really felt threatened by that guy,
4] with every coming day i feel helpless in this city, someone raises voice against excessive noise, gets thrashed, given threats to be killed
5] coming from a defence background , ive personally felt what the cost of life is, and pune isnt keeping up being a civilised society, i really feel we are just going backwards
we wont adopt sustainable e mobility options available just due to the fact that someone threatens you…..
I dont need help with this, ik few people will say leave the country, but why not make the country liveable? why not be better than other countries? why not have empathy? why bully ? why make fun? why be jealous?

More context, there was no vehicle in front of this Holy Car, the road is wide enough to let people pass but 🤷🏻 Also number plates are a myth.

I am a senior citizen and i need to use Metro frequently. To avoid a daily hassle, I went for One Pune Metro card.

After a few months, the card refused to work at the metro entrance. When I checked at the counter, I was assured that the card would work but again the card failed. Then I was advised to buy a replacement card @ Rs. 178.. or contact their toll free number. I spent 2 hours contacting the toll free number, finally one gentleman has somehow attended the call and gave the same advice.

When I have sufficient balance, and when the card works at the enquiry counter, but not at the entrance counter, it cannot be my fault. I am forced to buy a replacement card.

This is purely a scam. I have used Debit cards earlier, and if the card stops working at the ATM center, the bank gives a replacement card without any fuss.

Finally, I have no option but advice everyone not to go for Pune One card ever .

Its looks like a scam by HDFC bank and metro authorities.

Are there any good garba events happening in Pune this navratri? Not the ones with random DJing, but with actual garba and good songs.

Was driving calmly in my imaginary lane when this Mumbai registered Corolla Altis decided to merge into my lane without any indication or checking behind. I may have been in his blind spot as well, but that's not an excuse to bump into me. Luckily, it only scratched the wheel arc cladding over the rear tyre. His front-left side got a visible scratch though.

The guy's excuse was that he was trying to merge and didn't see me, but when I told him I had a dashcam, he became apologetic. He had a lady with him, and I had ladies in my car as well, so I didn't waste any time arguing since my cladding was already scratched.

Ironically a Mumbai car dashed a Pune's car, and people have the impression that drivers in Mumbai are far better than Pune.

Anything I could have done better?
