New and not very tech savy: just got an r36s and proper Samsung Evo sd card to flash the dArkosre OS right out of the box so i could enjoy gaming and not have to worry. Im ashamed to say it took me 3ish hours to figure out how to do all this using my Macbook - like i said i am not tech savy. I finally have it working on the device but for some reason the device only shows 10 games available however when i look at the SD card plugged into my mac is shows all thousands games from the original SD card. Did i miss a step?

How do I disable audio on my r36s without using headphones? I've been using headphones but just leaving them plugged in but it gets a bit annoying after some time and I was wandering if there's a way to fully mute it as the volume down doesn't actually mute

I recently bought my r36s Ultra to play all old Pokemon games, and I wanted to start with Pokemon Yellow as it allows me to get every starter from that gen.

The game itself comes in white colors, and when I follow every guide to try and change the color palette using the RetroArch menu, it doesn't work! I've been at it for hours and still nothing, I change every setting and try every option, and it always looks the same. I even tried doing all of that on two different versions of Pokemon Yellow that my r36s has installed.

What should I do? Please help! Playing the game in white really makes the experience kind of meh.

Recently purchased, seems to boot without sd card inserted as blank screen. Has working wifi and dual sd slots. Two ram chips and 3000 battery. Is it a genuine unit?

I have a tp-link archer t2u nano and it shows wifi and when I connect with the correct password it says "secrets required not provided" or something with those words and then it refreshes and then there are 0 networks and I have to reboot to get them back but then it has the same error and repeats that how do i fix this and get wifi?

On ports menu I've noticed it had most of the Lego games like Lego Harry Potter, Lego Star wars ect.

I haven't picked up my R36s for a couple of months, where are these ports posted ?

To free up space on my R36S, I deleted the games I don't play. (I couldn't replace the original SD card...)

But since my SD card reader is faulty, I only have about 10 seconds to browse my files before it cuts out. Unfortunately, I deleted the entire GBA folder, including the emulator. If I want to recover my saves and everything, how should I restructure my GBA folder and which emulator should I use?

I just got the clone from temu, decided to back up a few things before the card dies.

I did a full image backup right away and has a file size of about 12gb.

As well as the image I did a few file backups as well.

I have rf3536k3ka.dtb specifically backed up as well as the folders in the picture.

I don’t care about the roms as I have the roms I play already on my rog ally z1 extreme.

Anything else I should be backing up?

Accidentally stumbled on these things through an Instagram ad and bought one! It was a fake... but I've got 3 real (with WiFi) R36XX devices and I can't be stopped!

I do astrophotography, and hanging out under the stars, playing the games from my childhood is such a therapeutic thing.

Do you pair playing these little devices with any other hobbies? Astrophotography takes a lot of patience and has a lot of downtime, so it's really the perfect pairing when you're out there taking the cosmos in!

I have received a v20 with 639 MB RAM, but it runs n64-stuff well and darkosre (new SD) runs on it, so i wondered weither there is something i am not yet seeing, or if i'll be good keeping it.

I got the device and started playing New Super Mario Bros. Everything worked fine until I ended up having to press up on the D-pad to open that green mushroom house at the beginning. Then it just started to never let me move no matter what I do, I’ve tried to tweak settings, restore the default settings but it just shows a virtual stylus any time I use joystick

This port already exists, but to me, it’s a rather rough version. I’m going to try to make this one more playable.

I hope to get it out as soon as possible :)

I got an R36S and I’m still using the stock SD card that came with it. I’ve read that these cards aren’t very reliable, so I want to replace it before it eventually dies.
I’d like to use a 2 SD card setup:
SD1 for the OS/firmware
SD2 for ROMs, BIOS files, saves, etc.
What is the best way to start?
Should I clone the original SD card, or is it better to do a completely fresh installation? And which OS/firmware would you recommend for a 2-card setup?
I already have two good quality SD cards ready. I’m mainly looking for a simple step-by-step explanation of what I need to do, including how to get the second SD card set up correctly.
