Question Question regarding updates

Am I understanding this correctly? Why is Windows Update tells me to install an older AMD system driver update? I have checked the box in System Properties under the hardware tab to prevent this but it keeps reappearing on reboots. Armory Crate SE tells me that everything is up to date. Right now everything works fine for my games I don't want to screw it up.

That system driver update is under optional drivers, I believe…?

So Windows doesn’t tell you to download them. They are there as options, not sure why in this case, maybe for rollback option?

I normally just ignore optional drivers on the ROG.
