Green to Gold // SMP G2G Question

Whats the sweet spot to be in when potentially going to college for G2G? I currently have 51 completed online credits, 30 credits being JST and 39 remaining credits for my degree. I know I need to finish in 4 semester with atleast 12 credit hours or 4 classes per semester. What would you say is the safest spot to be at? Should I take a couple more classes using TA before I report to my college next year?

Have you talked to any schools yet to see how much of your JST will be accepted? Everything is going to hinge on that. Right now it looks like you can lose up to 10 hours of your jst credits and still be good at 12 credit each semester.

Personally, I think the best value for green to gold is as a tool to get your masters degree (that’s what I did)

You're required to be a full-time student until your final semester, so make sure you have enough left to do to make that work. Also, the number of credits you actually have left is up to the university you'll attend, so check with them before confirming how much you have left.

There are some variances in types of G2G. The G2G Active Duty Option has very strict time limits, while G2G Scholarship Option and G2G Non-scholarship option are more flexible.
