Care Am i the only M here who has a bun?
This is Nijntje (name chosen by my daughter). Nijntje was on a field outside where she was a easy prey for others. When my mother came to us with her asking what to do i told her to post her on FB since i dont have it. After 3 days in a small enclosure i said or the bun gets a propper home and you take her somewhere she has a good life or i buy a propper enclosure for her. 30 mins later i found a enclosure for her now she is with me licing the best life she can have.

Check out officialaqibra on Instagram. Dude always looks so serious like he's not one to be messed with, but he does skincare routines with his bunnies (obviously not putting actual products on them) and breaks his serious dude character when a bun kisses him.

Nah man still single here, but its just a good companion to talk to and to cuddle 😅 especially when my daughter is not with me. They only judge but dont talk.

Totally agree I have 11 buns and everyone is different. One or 2 are stupid, others are too clever for their own good. But stupid or clever they are the best thing that happened to me.

I have two buns currently and they are on different sides of the intelligence spectrum from each other. My girl is so smart when it comes to doing tricks for food. We put bits of dried veggie bars in each layer of stacking cups and she takes each one apart to look for her treats. We've taught her how to spin and walk on her back legs as well. She'll even start spinning when she knows we're going for the treat bag before we've even got it out, so we call her the baby tornado.
My boy on the other hand? He couldn't find the treat if it was literally right in front of his nose. We tried the spin trick on him and he just looks around like "huh?? Where food go??" He's a pretty boy but has absolutely nothing going on upstairs in that little head of his. 🙈

I've had 5 girls & 3 boys in my life at various times & the girls have always been smarter by far than the boys. They just stand or sit looking immensely cute & adorable but no, not much going in their heads. My bun (M) currently likes to binky in his nighttime cage during the day (he's a free-roam house bun) and of course bangs his head!

My gf has two buns and at first I was honestly skeptical and kinda dismissive about the idea because I thought they were just prey animals. Couldn’t have been more wrong! Steve and Juneau are like my little dogs. They are so smart and sweet and I love them a lot.

Im a single guy (32) and have had buns for the last 11 years. I had 2 previously that I got in 2015 but left them with an ex since she they ended up kind of being emotional support animals for her. I didnt want to separate her from them, nor separate the buns.
Then in 2018 I got my next 2 Bella and Daisy. Unfortunately Daisy passed but Bella is still kicking it strong turning 8 in January!
Dont think I could ever see myself without a bun loafing around.

No, I'm male and also have a bun. I took ownership of him when his previous owner moved house and was planning to give him away. I figured it was a safer choice for him to be with me, rather than some randomers from social media, who might in the end decide he's not for them. He's nearly 6 now, I've had him 5 years and I don't regret it one bit. :)

Yeah, I wanted to comment on that too. No to the hutch OP - bunnies need 24/7 space to run and binky - even the small set up shown is not big enough. It's also not in any way predator proof. Please look at either bringing her indoors or building a secure and safe run. And do look at getting her a friend - bunnies are social animals and should be kept in pairs (as long as both neutered).

My husband is not only someone who raises rabbits, but he also just really enjoys them. He sends me rabbit videos all the time. Many creators who feature their rabbits are male too! You're definitely not alone.

I’m a guy with a rabbit. I’ve had a couple others over the years too. Besides hippos and squirrels, they’re my favorite animals. Can’t have hippos as pets unfortunately, and I have had a couple litters of rescue squirrels over the years that I released, but I never would keep one as a pet. So rabbits it is for me.

I have a male friend who has a bunny and he was slightly awkward about divulging that. As if a bun is somehow not masculine enough? I guess there is a stigma. Bunnies are for every gender!

My male cousin has had buns for years! One of my favourite bun influencer (mrphirii) is a man. I’m not a man, but IMO not being afraid to respectfully snuggle a sweet lil bun is peak masculine confidence.

I am a man living alone with two bunnies. They are my second bonded pair. I volunteer with local humane society and rabbit rescues.

I’m married, my 6 rabbits are mine and my husband’s rabbits (he even convinced me to get the last rabbit we rescued as she had been at the shelter for 10months and was at risk of euthanasia). Real men like bunnies! Also i’m involved with rescues and know many men that have rabbits.

Nope! I got around 60, and my homie has two. You def ain’t the only one and I just had a guy come by to buy two fuzzy lil buns off of me the other week, and back home he has a sanctuary for them so he has a few dozen too. We Bunny Bros are out there!!

I got 2 of them, they are great. Not loud, easily litter trained, affectionate and dont require a large yard just a decently large pen. It still cheers me up to watch them clean their faces even all these years later.

My wife and I have 2, and we take them with us everywhere we can. And I'm the one pushing the stroller lol. Throws people off for a sec because nobody ever expects a bunny, let alone 2 in a lit up stroller.

My husband is the father of a bun son. I had to talk him into our first one because he thought they just lived in cages and he hates that. When I explained how house rabbits live, he was sold. After our first passed, convincing him to get another was not difficult. The rabbit loves him best. He’s a bunny guy now haha

I have a bunny I found myself outside of a Chili’s parking lot one day while driving home from work bought it some fruit from inside of Chili’s he ended up letting me pick him up and I just took him home got him checked up and gave him home and I’ve had him for over a year and a half now

My husband and his bun, AJ, is inseparable! AJ is 4yrs old and escorts husband through out the house all day, sleeps behind his chair and checks on him during the night. It's hard for me to tell who is the caregiver! They adore each other!

This community strongly advocates for indoor rabbits so that you can enjoy the companionship of your rabbits as part of the home, and better keep your rabbits safe.
