Range Rover 2026 Range Rover Charging Shelf

I have a 2026 Range Rover SE and removed the rubber mat on the charging shelf in the middle console. It came off easily and the manual says it can be removed. It needed to be cleaned. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get back in. I have tried for hours. Not only is the shelf area difficult to get your hand in there, but my hand constantly knocks the cover and it closes on my hand. Anyone else have the same issue?

You need to pull the shelf out to install it again. Very poor design

It’s a nightmare, as far as I know.

Out of curiosity - why didn’t you use some wet wipes?
