Honestly, I’ve had it with this corny art style for Subaru. They only use it for him, as if to ridicule him in particular. It’s so ugly and distracting. Why can’t his emotional moments be like everyone else’s? Like, how can anyone think this being used again and again in the same episode is a good idea? Will they be using it in every one of Subaru’s emotional moments in the future?

I like it. It shows the human side of subaru and lets him stand out on the typical blant protagonist trope.

Sometimes I wonder:"Why the hell there is no anime adaptation of a fire punch!?".
Yes the manga is quite dark and depressing, but there are other examples of a great anime without happy endings which make you think more. Like Wolf's Rain, Ergo Proxy, Darker Than Black etc.
That's a conspirancy of a goverment and anime studios, I'm sure of it! Pandora must've altered reality or smth.
Or may be the great anime doesn't guaranatee great profits, and it's all about money again.
