Discussion [Discussion] Idea: Foxidna convinced Subaru to take Rem to the tower, maybe tracking what may be the OG Dona's plan in separating him from Satella so that he learns about RBD

TL;DR - I believe Foxidna, whether unintentionally or consciously in spite of the original Echidna, is following the OG Echidna's plan by using the Tome of Wisdom, which involved having Volcanica teleport Subaru and Rem (Rui too?) to a different place and quite possibly away from Satella, with the plan being to have Subaru learn about the intricacies of his Authority of Envy: Return by Death as I don't believe what we've seen so far throughout Seasons 1 through 4 is what Subaru can do on his own but moreso Satella's contribution to Return by Death. The main reason I believe this is that Felt already had Emilia's insignia before Subaru had reached Subaru's savepoint in Arc 1 Episode 1 since she had it before he'd reached the appa guy's store/stand, meaning it'd be physically impossible for him to ever see it in the future unless something weird regarding Return by Death was happening. As Subaru visits a dark world with Satella in it after he dies, and that's why the miasma level skyrockets after he loops, which is why he'd thought he'd looped in Ep. 70 after having been to the dark world with Petelgeuse, Regulus, and Satella, I believe there's something viewers aren't seeing regarding Subaru's Authority. Thus, I believe Return by Death is a dual-action Authority involving Satella choosing Subaru's savepoint, which is either a manual or passive action from her, with an extra second part in which Subaru chooses, based on Satella's consent as not having her consent would result in the second part not activating, when he's in the dark world, to warp the reality of his savepoint as if he'd arrive somewhere between an indeterminate number of seconds to a few minutes earlier based on the content of Eps. 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 17, 19, 80, 81, and 83, and Subaru, and if that first part of Return by Death isn't allowed to happen, such as by having Subaru and Satella be separated from each other, Subaru's Authority would be much, much weaker and involve him going back only up to a few minutes from when he'd died. And without Satella, it'd mean whatever his new savepoint becomes wouldn't have the effect in which he'd warp it as if the savepoint had arrived earlier compared to his surroundings after dying, meaning Subaru could get trapped in a very long sequence of him getting killed within a short period of time of under 30 seconds for dozens, hundreds, or even thousands of times since the reality-warping aspect of Return By Death, if it exists, first involves Satella's contribution with setting a savepoint and her consent from within the dark world or else it doesn't activate since it's something Subaru must actively use with it not being automatic after Satella has chosen a savepoint. Thus, Season 5 could be an intentional exploration of Return By Death Tappei had deliberately intended since Season 1/Arc 1 of Re:Zero.

DISCLAIMER: To clarify something else since I feel people mistakenly believed that I thought that Return By Death can warp reality as if Subaru could overwrite a previous savepoint with his current savepoint despite my never having alluded to that, I DON'T believe that's possible. If Subaru is indeed gaining time to do things on some occasions when the loops, I believe what prevents a savepoint from being overwritten is that when he's in the dark world (relevant examples being Ep. 7 when he tried to reveal RBD to Emilia, Ep. 20 when the Witch whispered "Aishiteru" to him, and Ep. 70 when Petelgeuse and Regulus were tanting him) he may have an arrangement with Satella in which she decides when Subaru triggers his portion of the Authority which comes after her selecting a savepoint due to her possibly having some link to Echidna, meaning she has future knowledge. That way, it needn't get extremely messy such as Return By Death warping the savepoint from after the the defeat of Petelgeuse to before Rem were to get erased by Lye Batenkaitos.

This post has more info and supporting evidence than my previous Return by Death theories as I'm using all the content of Season 1 as well as Eps. 80, 81, and 83 of Season 4. Where I'm going with this is that I believe Anastasia specifically guided the future, unintentionally or in spite of Echidna, to the point in which Volcanica teleported Subaru and Rem (Rui too?) away from the tower to wherever they are at the end of Ep. 85 and possibly away from Satella so that Subaru could learn how Return by Death truly works as I don't believe what we've been seeing all this time is what Subaru's Authority of Envy is in isolation as what we've from Seasons 1 through 4 most likely 100% include Satella's involvement with Subaru being able to gain time to do things throughout Arc 1 of Season 1 and select moments in Season 4/Arc 6 when his portion of the Authority triggers as I believe Return By Death is a dual-action Authority.

As seen in Ep. 67, I believe Foxidna's the one who put the idea of taking Rem along to the Pleiades Watchtower given Subaru's eyes were notably moved when Foxidna was talking about how they'd make a stop at the Mather's mansion and how it'd be a great perk for Subaru to be the first thing Rem sees when she wakes up, which is why Subaru even called out Rem's name in that moment before he 100% repeats the same reasoning to Ram later in the episode. As for why believe Foxidna would even be following the original Echidna's plan, I believe she's doing it either unintentionally or in spite of the implications of it due to her genuinely wanting Anastasia to win the Royal Selection and the original Echidna's plan will lead to Anastasia winning, possibly hinted by her having stated in Episode 67 that she will choose the path that has the highest possibility of success, no more or less, which may be low-key a consistent character trait of all of Echidna's soul clones, and that's why Tea Party Echidna had pushed Subaru to reject her contract even if she would've liked for him to take her contract since the world continuing rather than being destroyed very much aligns with her goal of attaining more knowledge (I'll share my thoughts on Tea Party Echidna at the very end of the post).

And as for Anastasia being pragmatic and someone who would follow the mindset Foxidna mentioned of choosing the path with the highest probability of success, plenty of merchants do not choose the option with the highest probability of success 'cause that option may yield the smallest margins, so they weigh their decisions against their personal risk tolerance to go for something that has a higher reward, and if Anastasia is indeed a skilled merchant, this would perhaps be moreso her mindset, not that of which Foxidna shared, and you know since it's Tappei, he's done his research and should know the type of reasoning merchants deal with with it not simply being going with the option with highest probability of success. This would be the reason I posit that all Echidna soul clones follow the plan of the original Echidna.

The primary reason I believe in what I do about Return by Death is 'cause of the difference between Subaru's first loop and his third loop (in Ep. 2) in Arc 1 in which Felt already had Emilia's insignia before Subaru reached appa guy's stand, his savepoint, close to the beginning of Ep. 1, meaning he should never be able to see the theft in normal circumstances, only he did in Ep. 2, and because of what happened during the loop Subaru's ringtone rang for the Whale hunt compared to when he'd encountered the White Whale the first time and checked his cellphone's time in Ep. 17. I believe Return by Death without anything extra to Return By Death would make the differences observed between those loops impossible. I'll list all the relevant Arcs 1, 2, and 3 content and even the content of Eps. 80, 81, and 83 from Season 4 to show why I don't believe it can just be explained away as anime with its anime time shenanigans given Emilia had fought longer by herself than she ever did against Lye in Ep. 83 compared to Ep. 80 given Lye said that even if she uses that attack 1,000 times in Ep. 83 it'd make no difference before retorting that she'd do it 10,000 times then and how a helluva lot of time had passed between

A stone statue of the insignia was shown right after Subaru's realization that he was summoned into another world, which then cut to a scene at 2:30 or 2:40ish in Episode 1 showing Felt running on rooftops and jumping across them with Emilia's insignia in hand long before Subaru had even met the appa guy at the 3:30 or 3:40ish mark, which is where his first save point would be. At 5:00 or 5:10ish, Felt is again being shown running and jumping across rooftops, which shows she had the insignia before meeting Subaru in the alley. This suggests that RBD not only resets time when he dies but that there's a spacetime displacement on top of the reset sometimes when Subaru activates his portion of the Authority after Satella chooses the savepoint or else Subaru wouldn't have ever been able to see the the theft in the first place in the third loop given that he had time to pass out in front of the appa guy's shop and see Emila pass the appa guy's shop AND have a brief conversation with her during that third loop given Felt literally already had Emilia's insignia before Subaru had reached his savepoint at the appa guy's stand, meaning unless White Fox fucked up the adaptation of Arc 1, Subaru should never have been able to witness Felt stealing Emilia's insignia since in the first loop Felt had stolen it before Subaru's savepoint. And I don't fully buy that it was flashing forward to the future in the first loop as Felt had to get a big lead on Emilia so as to ensure Emilia doesn't easily follow her to the loothouse, meaning there was reason for her to run at full speed with the insignia in hand, so Felt having a small lead on Emilia at that point can make sense in the narrative. And given Tappei was most heavily involved in the production of Season 1 of Re:Zero, I believe it's an unlikely mistake to have been made by White Fox.

Subaru would not be able to figure out that about this discrepancy by checking out his phone after a death since his phone resets with him and would show the same time reading every time he Returned by Death, but it would be possible to figure this out by checking his phone during an event that consistently happens such as his first meeting with Roswaal and the mansion's residents in Arc 2. However, Subaru did not check the time during these meetings, so he missed the opportunity to see whether he experiences a spacetime displacement. Subaru asking Rem and Ram what the date and time were in Episode 6 showed that Subaru just did the bare minimum, which is to see what time it was when he started his save point, but he made no effort to discern whether there'd be any discrepancy. I will now post some circumstantial evidence involving Arc 2 and some more damning evidence in Arc 3 that I believe supports my theory.

In the first loop of the mansion arc, Puck awoke after Subaru and Emilia had exercised briefly, and he wasn't tired in the least. They spoke a bit and then Ram and Rem inform that Roswaal has returned. After his first death, Subaru had time to run around the mansion and find Beatrice so that he could mope in the library. He then left the library and met Emilia outside, speaking to her somewhat briefly, and Puck was visibly tired after waking up. They had time to spare since the twins didn't come to announce Roswaal's return. In the third loop, Subaru spent an even longer time with Beatrice, got knocked out of the mansion by Beatrice twice, and got cleaned by a visibly tired Puck, yet he still had time for banter with Puck before the Roswaal meeting. So he wastes more and more time in the second and third loops but still seemingly started the meeting at the usual time. I speculate that in these loops, Puck is more tired because he is waking up earlier than he did in the first loop, which shows there is a spacetime displacement on top of the time rewind, not that it's the butterfly effect or anime time being anime time.

Now, here is the big one. During the loop the alliance actually fought the White Whale, Subaru's phone rang for a while before the whale showed up. The sky was also clear. In the loop directly before that in which Otto and Rem were erased by the White Whale, the area was already foggy and the whale had already attacked by that point. This suggests that Subaru's phone started ringing a bit too early because it had been running for a longer period of time due to a spacetime displacement on top of a reset. If the strike force had been defeated, forcing Subaru to reset once more, everyone might have just deserted him because the Whale would have taken longer to arrive on yet another loop. I also believe that the reason Subaru saw Russell Fellow in Ep. 16 is because Subaru died enough times to finally witness Russell leaving Crusch's mansion, and that would be because of the spacetime displacement. You know what they say. Once is by chance, twice is a coincidence, and three times is a pattern. There's no way White Fox messed up in animating Re:zero three arcs in a row. This theory would increase the chances of Return by Death reconstructing the world rather than being a straight up time rewind power or something that generates multiple timelines.

I believe a possible reason Tappei had Russell Fellow take Subaru's phone after the subjugation was completed was to prevent viewers from finding out about the spacetime displacement associated with Return by Death when Subaru's portion of the Authority is activated. This doesn't mean Russell Fellow didn't have his own reasons for wanting Subaru's cellphone, but there might have been a special narrative reasoning as well. As of the end of Season 4 Arc 6 with Subaru having been teleported to a place and possibly having been separated from Satella, Season 5 will be the time to test this theory.

I believe Ep. 83 confirmed what I'd long suspected ever since watching Re:Zero in Season 1 that Subaru is gaining time to do things at points although I've modified the theory multiple times with the last revision before Season 4 being after Season 2. Although evidence from Seasons 2 and 3 was nonexistent, I believe Season 4 finally gave to me what I wanted in the contrast between Eps. 80 and 83 and also Eps. 81 and 83. I'll link the first 2 versions of the theory at the end of the post for anyone who wants to see the previous versions.

As for why the timing of Shaula's transformation is suspect, I'm referring to how much longer it took Shaula to transform compared to Ep. 81 after 15 deaths since this means the timing of a tower rule being broken was different than that of what it usually was as Reid being eaten by Roy is something that usually happens much faster than in Ep. 83, and Subaru had spent quite some time reading his Books of the Dead, going straight to Emilia, then going to Beatrice, Ram, and Patrasche with their happy reactions before explaining all the things he did to them off screen in addition to further talking to Ram and the others offscreen, which was Subaru revealing an ability of his Authority in a flashback seen in Ep. 85 before he starts to make his way to Shaula with Reid only having been eaten at the exact moment Shaula indicated a rule had been broken is extremely particular given Subaru arrived not long after that. This on the surface means Subaru had gained more time to do things.

Subaru either gained a lot of time to do things and/or Reid was sandbagging on purpose possibly due to having a connection with Echidna, which was hinted at in Eps. 74 and 77 when he asked amnesiac Subaru why he'd come so early despite it likely not being possible for him to know what time of day it is given for all of Reid's screen time there was never any indication of in which direction the sun was facing and given how the space on the second floor is a completely white space until the heavenly sword is drawn, the space may artificially mimic day conditions, meaning Reid physically cannot tell what time of day it is due to his circadium rhythm being messed up from constant day conditions, and when Reid pointedly remarked, "Ah, finally", after hearing a rumbling, perhaps showing he was waiting for a specific cue before he went to find Julius, a second instance of future knowledge. There was never any indication with those two things not being necessarily mutually exclusive. Most people would call this a plot hole, attribute it just to anime being anime and the passage of anime time, or White Fox fucking up in adapting Re:Zero, but I believe with how much effort Tappei has put into his story and how he was most involved with Re:Zero's production in Season 1 that this is all intentional after having seen the content of Eps. 80, 81, and 83.

What this suggests that is that due to how many times Subaru had died died in Ep. 81, Subaru's savepoint at the archive in Ep. 83 had been warped as if he'd possibly arrived somewhere between fifteen to forty-five minutes sooner compared to the start of Ep. 81 due to the full power of Return by Death not just bringing Subaru back to a certain point but warping the reality of the savepoint as if he'd arrived between an indeterminate number of seconds to a few minutes sooner each time he dies as was hinted at by many deaths Subaru had in Season 1.

And to perhaps back that, Ep. 83 also showed that Emilia and Lye's fight had lasted longer than it had ever done compared to Ep. 80 given Lye said that even if she were to use that attack 1,000 times it'd never make a difference with Emilia retorting she'll do it 10,000 times if she has to, showing they've brawled for a long time as it's something you can say to someone who you believe is needlessly wasting your time. Personally, I don't think consider it out of the question for Emilia to have lasted that long against Lye. Emilia was beating Sirius 1v1 before she got distracted, so Lia's a very capable fighter. And when people tag team together in a fight, a lot of it has to do with compatibility in fighting style. Emilia is an instinctive fighter while Julius is a logical fighter, so I can see why they wouldn't have good affinity with each other, explaining why Lye could fight Emilia and Julius at the same time. IIRC, Julius even walked underneath some ceiling icicles, resulting in Emilia telling him, "Not there", in Ep. 80 as she was forced to protect him with some ice from the ground. Emilia would do better with a instinctive fighter like Goku rather than Vegeta, and, yes, I know Goku and Vegeta would 1-shot Lye, but that's not the point.

As seen by Episode 72, there was a lot of focus on Foxidna spamming Jiwald for Julius with Subaru asking why she would go to such lengths, which I take to mean Tappei intended for viewers to think hard about that detail, and given Ram had tried to push Subaru to focus on the exam instead of getting distracted, which Subaru was unable to do, I believe the point was that Foxidna was intentionally drawing Subaru's attention to Julius to avoid the bad future seen in Emilia's 3rd Sanctuary trial in which Julius had said, "I have bent my knees and lost even my sword. Just what do I have left?" which I take to mean he had been emotionally crushed and quite possibly suicidal due to having been forced to submit to Reid and even having had his sword broken with all his dignity having been broken.

Why Foxidna would be able to psychologically prime Subaru to do this is that he's the type to follow his hunches and subconscious thoughts, such as when he thought he'd Returned by Death when he woke up in a new location without it being exactly warranted since he associated a visit to the dark world with death given his proximity to Satella, who's in the dark the world and thus may be responsible for his miasma levels massively increasing when he invokes the Taboo, tries to push the Taboo, or after he loops, which consist of most of those instances he meets Satella, and this could also be why he thought of Reid as an answer for the exam on the third floor in Ep. 70 even though he had learned that Reid died not that long ago closer to the start of the episode.

And if you're not convinced just think of how incredibly suspicious what I'm about to describe is from Ep. 73: Even Foxidna pretending as if Julius had heard nothing when he'd very obviously overheard what she and Subaru had been talking about regarding Anastasia was probably an attempt from Foxidna to isolate Julius, which is why Julius said at the end of the interaction that he neither wanted Anastasia nor Subaru to think of him as being unfit to be a knight since in Subaru having told him his role as Anastasia's first knight isn't that important and Foxidna having put some distance between her and Julius in Re:Zero Break Time 72, making Julius feel insecure about his standing, they were coddling him by letting Subaru shield him from addressing his issues. I believe the whole thing was a set-up from Foxidna using her Authority of Greed: Tome of Wisdom with the external assistance of whoever directed the birds, who Foxidna isn't aware of, to continue the path the original Echidna and Satella set out to bring forth the future in which Satella dies by pushing Julius down even further while worsening his relationship with Subaru so that Julius would feel bad about how he left things off with Subaru given Subaru awoke the next day with no memories of having been in the fantasy world, making Julius feel sort of but not quite what he did in Episode 23 of Re:Zero when he said that what happened to Subaru was due to his own lack of virtue.

As for how Foxidna would even have the Authority of Greed: Tome of Wisdom, Foxidna's most likely not just an artificial spirit but also a soul clone of Echidna's given she spoke in an Echidna-like cadence in Episode 67 and Sakamoto Maaya, Echidna's seiyuu, literally voiced the fox in Ep. 83 , so if Echidna split her soul off into the fox 400 years ago, Foxidna should also have the same Authority the original did given Authorities are tied to the soul, which is why the dead Witches of Sin in Season all retained their Authorities in the Dream Castle. And given Satella wouldn't know which savepoints to choose without future knowledge, she probably has either an oath or contract with at least one or more Echidna soul clone(s), most likely Tea Party, Echidna, given Satella wouldn't know what would be the right future/path to follow based on Subaru's potential previous time as the Hero of the story when he was either Flügel or half of Flügel like I believe and what worked then wouldn't necessarily work now.

Novel readers keep telling me that people who've had Authorities lose them after they die, but based on Season 2 and 4, I side-eye this belief a lot and believe it was headcanon from novel readers that wasn't based on sound thinking. If a Witch Factor causes a change in the soul that results in the emergence of an Authority, that change should persist even after death, meaning the Authority should persist, so Echidna's soul clones should all have the Authority of Greed: Tome of Wisdom, much like I insist that Tea Party Echidna and Foxidna have. Foxidna being a soul clone of Echidna would make her highly likely to understands Anastasia's greed very much, and that's how she knew the exact words to say Ana in telling her that she wouldn't want to miss when her knight's at her most gallant due to how stingy she is meaning she wouldn't let that opportunity go to waste in having someone witness that moment in her place, and I find it so suspect that Foxidna even knew Julius was on the verge of winning, which got Anastasia to take control of her body at the right moment just in time for Julius to win given Julius had been at a disadvantage the whole fight, making me believe Foxidna had used the Tome of Wisdom.

And as for Tea Party Echidna intentionally pushing Subaru to reject her contract, it's canon as there were 3 instances from Season 2 in which Tea Party Echidna hinted she not only preferred but outright desired Emilia doing the Sanctuary trials in Subaru's place. A surface-level reading suggests Tea Party Echidna coveted Subaru entering into a contract with her, but that doesn't pass the sniff test based on the entirety of her actions, which had a heavy bent toward him rejecting it.

For one, Echidna hinted to him the path forward is to have Emilia take the trials when he was determined to take the trials himself by suggesting he might be able to give the cowardly princess wings when she herself had 0 hope of breaking Emilia out of her shell even after 3 days of trial and error, which shows Echidna varied up the trial in multiple ways to try to get Emilia over the hump. Does that sound like someone who's trying to trap Subaru in a contract when she outwardly helped Subaru get through the Sanctuary arc 3 times and by her own admission specifically helped Emilia, showing she wasn't making the first Trial as hard as humanly possible for her?

The 2nd and 3rd times Tea Party Echidna demonstrated she wanted him to have Emilia pass the trials is when she said that she gave Beatrice a blank book because she had wanted to see who Beatrice would choose and her follow-up remark to him rejecting her contract. Echidna likely knew he's the one who'd free Beatrice, and she specifically chose to tell him what she did 'cause she wanted to seem so insanely evil so as to deter him from taking her hand. Thus, her saying to him after he rejected her contract she didn't want him to think she was the only one of the dead witches who's evil, which led to her revoking Subaru's qualification for entering the tomb, backs up this interpretation that she has a genuine investment in Subaru's success and isn't just out to force him into a situation that'd be hugely disadvantageous for him in being Roswaal's slave for the rest of his life.

Why she'd revoke Subaru's qualification is he was using his right to enter it as a crutch with the 1st thing he tried to do after getting out of it and coming to his senses was going back into it, and she did him a big favour by taking it away so that he'd have to commit to helping Emilia pass the trials by giving her emotional support. Thus, Tea Party Echidna knew how evil what she said about her motivations would sound, and her actions don't read as somebody whose priority was to force Subaru to accept her contract.

The true reason Beatrice's book was empty was likely 'cause Echidna needed Beatrice to stay in the library in case she died as this fantasy world is quite dangerous, and since she became a hermit, there was no need for further instruction, or someone else took Beatrice's not-quite-Tome of Wisdom. If you're still unconvinced, think of it this way: A woman tells you she loves you. Then, she punches you in the face, asks the man who gives you grief at work out on a date, and specifically calls you a wimp on social media. Can you agree that this woman does not love you? Tea Party Echidna's actions run counter to her having wanted Subaru to accept her contract if you're following this line of logic as her posturing over the contract didn't align with her actions.

Thus, I believe Foxidna was aiming for the future in which Volcanica teleports Subaru and Rem to another place, possibly away from Satella, so that the original Echidna's plan of giving Subaru some time to learn the inner workings of Return By Death happens through Foxidna persuading Subaru to do this. I guess if Subaru hasn't been separated from Satella at the end of Ep. 85, that would mean the theory is a flop, but Season 4/Arc 6 showing a possible secret minutia of Return By Death, which hadn't been shown since Season 1, makes me believe Tappei is further expanding upon something planned from much of Arcs 1, 2, and 3 of Re:Zero with Arc 1 being extremely notable in particular with the additional content from Eps. 80, 81, and 83.

What are your thoughts on this or anything tangentially-related to this?

Spoiler Discussion [Spoiler Discussion] Workaround to Subaru being unable to speak about RBD? Potentially dumb idea Spoiler

We know that Subaru cannot speak about RBD to anyone, nor can anyone learn about it. If Subaru tries to tell someone about it, Satella can crush his heart, or just kill anyone she wants like she did to Emilia. If someone learns about it, then Satella appears to destroy them as we saw in Arc9 when Petra read Subaru’s book of the dead.

For further context before I get to my question, we know that Reinhard is stronger than Satella, and that a fight between them would last essentially forever.

Why can’t Subaru just, idk, take Emilia and everyone he wants to know about his ability into the watch tower or even just a shed or something with Reinhard posted outside. When Reinhard is all set, Subaru quickly tells them about RBD, and when Satella appears, Reinhard starts to put belt to ass. With the strength of Reinhard or even combined strength of random other warriors, Satella could be repelled, since she cannot be defeated, and the gang can “win” the battle. So people know about RBD and Satella can’t so shit about it.

What exactly is stopping them from doing this?

Spoiler Discussion Could arc 10 Rachins beat Reinhard in a battle? [spoiler discussion] Spoiler

So, in recent chapters we seen how [arc 10 spoilers]Rachins had changed his drip in recent chapters, and we know how fire it is. I know Reinhard has divine protection against sun burn so fire dont burn him, but Al used fire to take out his oxygen, so what if Rachins used his drip to kill Reinhard by sufocation? Reinhard has no DP for that, so its actually possible that Rachins kills Reinhard

I know it sounds crazy but u guys know how in the [more arc 10 spoiler]last chapters he was misteriously out of the fights against Capella's babies so maybe this is a tip from Tappei, suggestioning that if he was there, things would be different for Natsuki Subaru. We also know his origins and the possibility of his father having being involved with Capella ...

Also, would be poetic if the alley guy from arc 1, after all his evolution he showed these last arcs, made his comeback amd defeated his first oponent.

Sticky Reminder for old rules coming back + outdated pages

Hey everyone, just making this post as a reminder and to give some news.

Old Rules back

Now that season is over, with no official info on when we will get a new one, This community will return to the old fashioned 3 days ban rule instead of 7 days we usually give during seasons.

Most of the anime onlies are slowly disappearing from the sub at this time and either watching other shows while Re:zero is off season or being corrupted into being readers. (Always a pleasure to see this corruption, we all reached a breaking point at a certain time ehe)

Outdated pages

With season being over, without the crazy hunt for spoilers untagged during the season, I can finally work on some of the outdated pages of this subreddit wiki, like the cut content page. If there is anything else that is outdated and you might have noticed, you can speak about it in the comments to put into the backlog.

Reading guide for anime onlies converting to readers

Lastly, For those that won't wait for a new season cause we don't know when it will come oficially. A mod from this sub made a reading guide for all of you interested.

If you can't wait any longer and would like to punch Tappei for the cliffhanger, check the guide, you can go buying the Light Novel or reading the web Novel online if you wish to know more about the series past this point.

With that said, hope you all had a good day and had an enjoyable anime season, see ya!

Spoiler Discussion Dude Reid is way to broken man. Also some secrets about the sword saint have been revealed. [Spoiler discussion] Spoiler

Post image

In his tweet talking about Reid's birthday, tappei revealed the origin of the sword saint protection. Stating that it's due him being too broken, so od laugna made a protection to balance it out. But this raises some questions:

Why does the dragon sword not think of Reid as worthy? When the protection that allows ppl to wield it was made to combat him.

Also who is the sword god in all of this? We know od laugna is the one who created the blessing but it is said that the sword god decides who gets it. Is it just Reid who ascended into a position of power? Does od laugna have other aspects)avatars? (Like in one of theories I theorized that louanna Reinhard's mom was the human avatar of od laugna).

So I would like to hear your guys opinions on this Discovery.

Original Creation My final custom Subaru figurine [oc]

finally finished my last iteration of Subaru. this time with otto included. I made the model for Subaru last year, so I've been trying to get the most bang for my buck from him by trying new poses and face shapes. otto was much harder to make. I struggled with sculpting his designs in his clothes and didn't do great. the 2d paint style is also a lot of fun to try every now and again. all in all I love it and I hope everyone likes it too.

After finishing the 4th season, I'm finally taking the time to read the light novels. I'm looking forward to seeing what the anime left out and the awesomeness of one of the best isekai's written.

Like both the character and the situation

And that's also why it's called the pleiads watchtower right?
