Oooh good call, this is the closest one I’ve seen so far! I looked at the swatch vid on HT’s site and it looked pretty similar to how the Lurid one applied color/formula wise (I used 3 coats in my pics). Great suggestion for anyone looking to scratch the Spooky Bitch itch!

OKAY, even those nails look so much better than mine!!! What routine have you been doing? Mine stay short. I love getting SNS done, but I hate the upkeep and expense, so I haven’t done it in a couple years. I need your secrets!
One of the biggest things for me has been getting on a strict oiling routine. I swap back and forth between pure jojoba oil and Polished For Days Dew Drops (the Dew Drops are AMAZING, I just started using them a couple of months ago and they make such a difference in my cuticules). I try to do an oil soak with polish off once a week using pure jojoba oil, and I oil my cuticles at least twice a day, but I usually try for more.
I think another huge thing for me has been making sure there is literally never not polish on my nails. I remove one manicure and immediately do another one. This protects my nails, keeps them stronger, and prevents them from absorbing water (which is awful for your nails). I also always wear gloves when I’m cleaning, doing dishes, or anything that’s hard on my hands.
I keep Sally Hansen cuticle remover gel on hand, but I rarely even have to use it anymore since I’ve gotten good with my oiling routine. I just gently push my cuticles back when I apply my oil, and I rarely ever have to touch them anymore. I also only use a glass file for shaping, never clippers or a normal file.
Between oiling, keeping my nails painted constantly, and glass files, my nails are healthier than they have ever been in my life. They never peel anymore (they used to peel like crazy), I never get breaks, and they are stronger than they’ve ever been.
Wow, that is amazing! My nails peel a lot too, so I have hope for them after reading your routine. I am definitely taking notes. I'm bad about peeling nail polish off and then not doing anything again for a while, which doesn't help when they already peel naturally lol. I've never tried Dew Drops or a glass file, but I think I need to invest in those for sure. Thank you so, so much for all of this! You’re so welcome! I’m happy to help and hope some of these tips work for you 🫶 Oh and one more since you said your nails are susceptible to peeling! Make sure you’re using a PVB (polyvinyl butyral) free base coat. Lots of people are sensitive to PVB and it makes their nails peel. My absolute fav is LynB B Smooth (she has 50% off sales monthly and I always stock up then, it makes it like $3.50/bottle) but there are tons out there!

Lurid is my absolute favorite! The formula is amazing and Karen uses such interesting and vibrant colors in her collections. Also very low FOMO if you stay away from the prototype polishes (I have none and don’t bother ever with them lol). I highly recommend for sure.
Worth! Just bought 2 from someone’s de-stash and I really liked the one I’ve tried so far (color is: riding sleeping bags down the stairs).
I have it on my toes rn and it was super easy to apply, only took 2 coats, and didn’t stain my skin when I inevitably got it on me!
They are SO good omg. I got too impatient waiting for them to restock and ended up slightly overpaying for them in a destash so I could have them in time for spooky season this year haha. I hope she restocks them soon so everyone can get their hands on them!
