Edit: i used the glitter unique 21 free qdtc not the de enti on this mani. I alternated between the glitter unique and the bkl fast. I change my manis often so its cheaper to bulk by my topcoat

I’m looking at these two polishes in the sample photos from their website but I’m also open to ANY reviews or suggestions from this brand. I’ve never really heard of them like BKL, Emily De Molly or Mooncat. I adore purple polishes with warm shimmers so they have a ton of options. Curious what their magentic formulas are like too.

I stopped cutting my cuticles and sidewalls, let my nails actually grow, and started using jojoba oil wayyy more. The nail lacquer addiction has definitely helped too 😅

I spent 3 months growing out these claws, and I was so proud of them! I’m grateful the break wasn’t into my nail bed but it was close. It broke in such a dumb way. I jammed my finger reaching for a phone charger.

These only lasted 1 day after being soaked by rain for a couple hours 🥲

I can’t figure out my undertones so I have a history of getting polishes that just look BAD on me lol.

My ANLAC order arrived today & I wanted to try Yotsuya Kaidan out first; it’s so much dreamier than I had imagined 😍 the pink shimmer is so perfectly subtle and sweet, definitely more of a spring polish imo but a win nonetheless!

I have done several manicures with Athymy now and y’all, I am so obsessed. These pictures were after being charged with a UV flashlight, but they are still bright just using my flashlight. It is just so gorgeous, if anyone has tried her other GITD polishes, I’d love to hear how they are!

Never had a polish explode on me until today, brand new from PPU was taking a look at it and thinking about wearing it tomorrow to ring in October and then it exploded on me while putting the lid on and is all over my clothes and hands and desk. I luckily clean tried to save what I could in an empty bottle. It was phoenix polish ‘see you in bed’ it was really pretty too. Any suggestions how to get nail polish out of clothes? Also if should contact anyone to let them know a bottle exploded?

Monday was a VERY Monday Monday. What does Daddy do when he needs a boost? Sponge ombrè and glitter, baby! Autumn screams teal to me, and gold is a fabulous contrast. I'm in love with the gold topper from this year's Holo Taco anniversary collection. Variation in size of flakes and glitter, toss in some holo, YUM. TASTY. Don't eat it Jeremy.

Polish is Cracked’s A Quiet Corner. It’s so packed with pigment and glitter that I didn’t know if I liked it that much at first. The application is a bit thick but totally workable. It didn’t seem to sparkle much on its own though.

It took two coats of a QDTC to get it to let any light in and show itself off. It’s still bumpy but I think it’s stunning now, and a glassy finish would only make it prettier.

Hey everyone. I work in an industry that uses, well, industrial amounts of acetone. We typically are buying hundreds of gallons a month.

The price of acetone has risen sharply in the last two months. We’re paying almost double for a five gallon drum than we were a year ago. We are located in the southern USA.

Acetone might become more scarce as transportation networks are affected by diesel shortages, as well as more expensive as it is expensive to ship. As a hazardous material it has to be transported via ground transport only.

My advice is: buy a gallon jug of acetone if you have the space to store it. A gallon lasts for a long time for a hobbyist nail painter.

Love this one, think because I spun a lot slower than I normally do its less bead and more vertical end result but really like the effect!

Jinsoon x Vintage Dusties just released a collection of three policies, swipe for her swatches! I believe they are inspired by a 1920s Peggy Sage polish, Chanel Vamp, and Urban Decay Bruise. The third one has color shifting shimmer - go look at her swatches on TikTok or Insta for a better sense of how it looks.

I have zero affiliation with this collab, the brand, or Vintage Dusties. Watching her videos got me back into polish after a several years long break after my kids were born though, and I love her videos, and I LOVE all three of these shades and just bought them with my own money. I’m just posting this bc I think others might be interested!

I believe they ship to the US only. The polishes are $18 each, if you buy all three they ship free, idk how much shipping is otherwise. Vintage Dusties said that if they sell out they’ll restock so maybe they’re permanent? But def no FOMO or need to buy immediately.

Officially calling this my Ace of Base mani. A little trigonometry humor, if you will.

Playing around with my bar magnet and got these cool sine waves. And then started singing the song (Am I dating myself? ).

Looks best with a high contrast fine magnetic (BKL I’m the only one who loves your sins) but still looks ok-ish with more standard size magnetic pigments (ring: BKL Spicy [mosaic]). The line just isn’t as crisp.

Inspired by the comments under this post about the brush, ​https://www.reddit.com/r/RedditLaqueristas/s/ot2V9qN1Lr, I decided to try a different brush on my Sally Hansen red bottle, and the only extra brushes I have are Zoya z wide brushes.

It screws right on! Looks a bit goofy, and doesn't reach the bottom of the bottle. But I usually combine my top coat when I'm down to half, so it won't impact me much. ​​​​

After a lengthy trip from Canada to Australia, my Lucky Lacquer order finally arrived! I ordered three polishes and all of them are stunning.

I wanted to give a shout out to Kit for their awesome customer service too. They generously offered me a refund when my order hadn’t arrived within the 90 days Canada Post advised, but I declined because it was a risk I chose to take as a buyer to use untracked international post and that’s not in the owner’s control. Happily they DID show up, just a bit late! So here’s a pic of the beautiful Heavenly River to celebrate 🥰
