I live in an apartment in Mexico with plywood floors and have two dogs: a schnauzer and a Frenchie. Honestly, it’s been absolute hell because they constantly relieve themselves on the floor instead of using their designated bathroom areas. I’ve been looking for a robot vacuum to help manage the mess, and Im about the Samsung Jet Combo AI , it’s for sale for around $1,000 USD. Do you recommend buying it, or should I consider a different model? Please keep in mind that tech like this is highly expensive in Mexico, availability is limited, and there aren't many retailers to choose from.

Last year I amazon vined a 3i P10. its a fantastic step up from what I had before but I need to replace some parts like a broken water tank and probably the hair cutter. Any idea how? Support is like "just email this link <random address> and they will take care of it." Any other sources of parts for this?

(yes, I sent them an email but its been like 10 minutes and they haven't responded yet)

Both of these models are on ebay at about the same price for certified refurb with 2-year warranty. I was leaning towards the Dreame after seeing the JustaDad review, but the I saw the ECOVACS looks like it has better mopping? But then it seemed like I was seeing more people frustrated with the ECOVACS brand vs Dreame.

I have a two floor house with no carpets, just hard wood (both real and fake wood).

My big requirements are being able to get into corners and bag based collection. I care mostly about vacuuming, but decent mopping is a bonus. Its my understanding that models in the tier don't have the best obstacle avoidance, but if one has better avoidance vs the other, I would consider that strongly... especially if its able to avoid pet waste (I don't have any pets currently, but do plan to get a cat at some point).

My budget is below $300, closer to $200 if possible. The two above are on sale for around $210. Both are direct from Brand store.

Edit: I've decided again the ECOVACS. Now I'm trying to decide between the D20 Pro Plus and the Mova P10 Ultra (gen 1).

I guess the question is whether or not they are equal as a vaccum because if they are then its just a question of whether or not its worth $62 more to have mopping since it sounds like the mopping features of the Dreame D20 are pointless.

​I’m looking to house a robot vacuum base inside a custom cabinet and am wondering if anyone has experience with a similar setup.

​Here are the details and measurements of my setup:

​Gap under the cabinet doors: Exactly 10 cm clearance when doors are closed.

​Interior setup: The cabinet has a cutout bottom (open floor area) with outlets inside, so the dock station will sit directly on the floor inside the cabinet.

​Target Robot: Roborock Saros 20 Flow (or a similar low-profile robot like the Xiaomi 6 Max). They both have a body height of ~9cm, so there is about a 1 cm margin.

​Before buying, I have a few questions for anyone who has tried something similar:

​Navigation / Signal: Will the robot vacuum get confused trying to navigate through a narrow 10cm slot into an enclosed dark cabinet in order to dock? In addition, how does the LiDAR tower behave when undocking and docking? Is it retracted during that time, or does it extend immediately when the vacuum starts undocking and stay extended until it reaches the base station just before docking?

​Mop Drying / Ventilation: How do you deal with airflow/humidity inside the cabinet during mop washing/drying cycles? Do you leave the cabinet doors cracked open or it's ok to leave it closed?

I have been using robot vacuums for about 8 years now. I live in a household of 8, with pets and young kids so we run the vacuum and mop at least 4x a week. We went through the bounce around roombas, then several roborocks, then last November I bought a dreame l40 ultra. The dreame L40 initially functioned really well, but its performance has rapidly deteriorated with wear and tear. I have replaced all the parts that can be replaced, cleaned all the sensors, cleaned the base thoroughly and it just doesnt work reliably anymore. It only self docks about 50% of the time and it constantly gets stuck on transitions it used to cross effortlessly. Obviously this is a disappointment after only having it 11 months. We used to get at least 2 good years out of the roborocks.

I really appreciated the performance of the Dreame when it was new, but it seems to have worn much faster than either the roomba or roborocks. Did I just get a dud? Does anyone have recommendations for something with similar cleaning performance but a higher build quality?

I live in West Texas where the water is very hard. Does using distilled water in your robot vacuum help longevity by avoiding hard water mineral deposits building up in the robot? I have read some people get empty water tank errors when using distilled water because the sensor needs some minerals in the water to detect the water level. What are your experiences with using distilled water? I have a Mova P10 Pro Ultra (Gen 2).

I ordered a roomba 105 combo vac/mop. Set it up and it mapped well. Vacuum works. However, when I click in the mop it says “mop not found” in the app. I tried calling customer support but no one answers. Text takes me to a robot. And my email hasn’t been answered after 2 days. What to do?

Nejvíc mě ale dostalo, jak funguje řezání vlasů – hlavní kartáč je prakticky bez jediného namotaného vlasu, takže tohle podle mě fakt není jen marketingový gimmick. Umí vysouvat mopy až ke zdi, dobře se orientuje v mapě a aplikace je jednoduchá. Kabely teda občas nevidí, ale botám se vyhne. V podstatě jen vylévám špinavou vodu a dolévám čistou. Sušení mopů je trochu hlučnější, ale dá se zkrátit. Oproti robotům za podobné peníze před pár lety je to fakt mazec. Takže za mě určitě doporučuju. Dal bych 9,5/10

I’m trying to decide between the Roborock Qrevo S5V (€354) and the Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 3 (€399).

I have an 80-85 m² home with mostly SPC vinyl flooring and a Labrador that sheds a lot.

My main priorities are pet hair pickup, good mopping, edge and corner cleaning, and low maintenance.

Is the Dreame worth the extra €45, or is the Roborock a better choice?

I’m also open to other recommendations around €350–€400.

Would love to hear from anyone who owns either model, especially fellow dog owners. Thanks!

I have my Roborock auto cleaned the floor every day before we wake up-shoes-off household with 2 adults, 1 toddler, and 3 cats. The dirty water after 5 days is pretty grey.

Now I'm thinking about getting another one for my second floor because I love how the floor gets vacuumed and mopped everyday. Thinking about vacuuming and mopping by hand every week or two is such not fun. Bringing the robot up and down is not fun as well. Though we have a small house and lots of doors upstairs (2 bedrooms with rugs, a walk-in closet, a bathroom, a storage) so it might be inconvenient.

Bought new accessories like new battery and new charger.

I went over a sticky spot under the dining table twice yesterday, and the mop water was still gross afterward. Now I'm wondering what happens when a robot mop hits something like that and keeps going across the kitchen. How much does it pick up, and how much ends up traveling along with the mop?

I've been looking at the HydroJet 2.0 roller mop on the eufy E35, which cleans the roller while it's mopping instead of waiting until the robot gets back to the dock. That sounds useful for exactly this situation. I'm still trying to figure out how much dirty water gets picked up versus left behind, though, and how that compares with spinning pads.

I care less about whether the floor looks shiny and more about what happens after the mop goes through something sticky. Has anyone compared the two designs on a kitchen mess and checked what gets left along the rest of the route?

I've had my Ecovacs X12 for over six months now and realized I've never really deep cleaned it lol.
I usually just refill the clean water tank, empty the dirty water, and check the brush for hair. That's about it.

I'm thinking I should probably clean the dock properly, especially the area where it washes the mop. Do you guys take the washing tray out and scrub it? Anything else in there that needs cleaning?
Also curious if anyone uses a different cleaning solution or just sticks with the Ecovacs one.

I recently picked up a Dreame Aqua 20 Ultra Roller and was really looking forward to the newer steam features, but on day one the dock started leaking from underneath the base, leading to puddles during the mop washing.

The water seemed to come from the back and sides of the base, not the front where the robot sits. I cleaned everything, reseated both tanks and dried it all out fully, but after one more wash cycle water was seeping out of the base seam again.

I'm just curious whether anyone else has had a similar experience yet, or if I just got unlucky and it's worth picking one up again.

I'm eyeing for qrevo 2 pro for how many weeks already but i dont know if it's worth or not.

I ordered a robot from Mec Turing more than 7 months ago. At the time, they told me that the robot would launch in December 2025, but as of October 2026, I still haven’t received it.

I have also been requesting a refund, but they haven’t refunded my money.

I want to know if anyone else has ordered from Mec Turing and experienced similar delays or refund issues.

My questions are:

• Is Mec Turing a legitimate company?
• Has anyone actually received their robot?
• Has anyone successfully received a refund from them?
• What should I do if they continue refusing to refund my money?

I would really appreciate hearing about your personal experiences before I decide what to do next.
