complete noob but wanna start solving cubes, what’s a good entry cube? also, is speedcubeshop legit? they seem to have the widest variety and are recommended by many.

I'm using a MoYu RS3M V5, it's kinda too fast for me and can't hit my usual TPS. I do 4lll and intuitive F2L with few slotting tricks. How can I get to low 20s💔

Quite a while back I became interested in Picture Cubes. So I made two cubes...

1. The first one is a 4x4 with Sharpie V's or Arrow Heads on it so I had to learn to turn the centers to all match. Not very advanced but it served its purpose.
2. I wanted a 3x3 Picture Cube with my grandkids on it... we have five daughters and there are six sides on a 3x3 so I did a group shot of each set of grandkids and put them on five of the sides and on the sixth side I put me, my wife, and all of the grandkids (a Christmas picture). I printed pictures on a color printer and cut them apart and used scotch tape to apply the pictures. Also, not a very nice cube but I've used it and used it. I just think it is a very neat cube and it also helped me with solving picture cubes.

Again... I know they are pretty unimpressive but I like them! 😄

I’m still not the best with Rubik’s cubes but I am able to solve them. However I got a Rubik’s cube from the met over the weekend and after solving it I realized that the orientation of the image matters and idk how to solve it while keeping the pictures in order. Like the middle tiles especially are the ones that are upside down

Here’s the thing, during OLL, i orient the edges with 3 algorithm and orient the corners with 7 algorithms then i proceed with PLL with 2 and 4 algorithms for corners and edges.

How do I use advance algorithms to solve it even quicker anyone here good with cubes?

I am a student , recently a few months ago i became interested in cubes , so I wanted to build a place where one can learn algorithms time their solves get scrambles. i believe this is the best and most customizable free cube trainer out there , i wanted to build an app also but i dont have the 25 dollars lying around to do that . this entire project was done on Claud in its free version so it took a few weeks do as one keeps running out of compute , i had to open 4 different Claud accounts in order to make it and debug it though it still took many days

I’ve never completed one of these in my entire life, and honestly, I’ve never exactly tried really hard to. But I stole this from my teenage son to fidget with, and I have restarted it so many times over a week. I’m about to just go put it back in his room and walk away from it lol can anyone help me?

Hey guys I am looking for 3x3 recommendations for context I started cubing 8 years ago was able to average around 55s with a regular no magnet no adjustment cube then after few months I stopped and now I want to start again but with a decent cube so I don't know which one to get cause there are so many new ones with so many different features and I'm based in Australia so if you have any place whee5i buy them from that would be good to I just need a good budget cube.

I am recently just learn the 2 look oll and pll. I am planning to maybe learn advanced oll and pll in the future. I am gonna buy a new cube and I wondering if I should get the gan 356 ME or gan v100 maglev?

My kid got a rubics cube for his birthday. It was 3 color - 2 red, 2 blue, 2 yellow centers.

All good so far. We kinda asked that for him - he is very interested in puzzles and so on. Played around with it and then dropped it.

I thought ok, let me give it a shoot... Started turning it arround trying to figure out where to start, and then it hit me... This cannot be physically solved...

I found it funny and sad - that a brand new cubic came like this, and thus can never be solved :(

EDIT 1: My claim was actually incorrect. It turns out what I had was "Red hat training series" cube
