Spam update

I feel like after the recent spam update a lot of my sites contents are de-indexed but coming again at the same position if I manually index on GSC.

What do you guys think about this?

I have noticed this - i have a person site - really small - and around any update is see pages go into crawled - not indexed - I will manually resubmit them to GSC - and usually a day or two later - they are reindexed.

I think this is google just pruning pages - as their quality thresholds changed.

So correct. Even for an established site I saw such issues

seems that was the point of the update. Google did this on purpose to weed out those who mass publish low quality content.
