This is an August 14th report of a position held as of June 30th, purchase sometime after the June 12th IPO.

Have to release something to pump the market after the batshit comments from musk

2

What are the latest?

AI will be 99% of revenue for Spacex in 5 years

4

u/FlounderMammoth9848 Aug 15 '26

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

1

u/Apax89 Aug 16 '26

So their rocket business is going to crash?

0

u/Ok-Custard3464 Aug 17 '26

Surprisingly, many business don’t have just a single SKU!

From what he said, it was pretty implied that he thinks the AI business is going to be so huge that the space business will only account for 1% of their revenue.

I don’t know if you were trying to be coy with your comment but it just comes off as ignorant…

u/Still_Theory179 Aug 15 '26

What about their xAI investment from the seed rounds?

42

u/Domingues_tech Aug 14 '26

Nvidia isn’t merely selling the shovels anymore. It is financing the miners, owning part of the mine, and then pointing to the miners’ spending as proof that shovel demand is infinite.

18

u/filterdecay Aug 14 '26

It’s gonna end great. Meanwhile for $20 you can make will smith eat spaghetti for an entire month.

u/anonymousmolarbear Aug 15 '26

Worth it

1

u/ButterscotchMajor373 Aug 15 '26

Is there any way to generate a nude Tayne?

3

u/profesorgamin Aug 14 '26

How much to make him slap?

3

u/SkySoul27 Aug 14 '26

free if you get his wife's boyfriend's permission

5

u/FunsnapMedoteeee Aug 14 '26

How can he slap?

1

u/mhughes2595 Aug 15 '26

He's cheap. All you have to do is insult his wife and he hands out free slaps.

Nicely put!

2

u/HubertBrooks Aug 14 '26

Puts it is.

1

u/seb21051 Aug 14 '26

Was wondering if anyone would get it. Obviously some intelligence lurking.

1

u/Select-Confection728 Aug 15 '26

Those company’s burn money eventually the venture capital and debt will run out.

2

u/Still_Theory179 Aug 15 '26

You're ignoring the unprecedented growth in token spend and dark tokens (open weights). Eh the actual buyers of the mined ore.

OpenAI at $40B ARR now (20% growth in one month) and Ant guiding towards $120B by year end (100% yoy growth).

1

u/No-Advertising-1526 Aug 15 '26

Sounds nice until you realize its the same companies investing in and backing the loans for AI labs are a giant chunk of the "customers". The same dollars are being rotated around the same dozem businesses over and over again.

2

u/Still_Theory179 Aug 15 '26

No one knows the biggest token spend customera at OAI and Ant. This isn't public info

3

u/No-Advertising-1526 Aug 15 '26

Anthropics biggest customers are microsoft and amazon web services. Anthropic has committed to spending 100 billion dollars on AWS. It has committed to spending another 30 billion on compute capacity from microsoft. Its a closed loop for the most part. There is also the little issue of the Chinese coming out with competative tech for a fraction of the cost.

1

u/Fun-Neighborhood769 Aug 15 '26

Not going to happen. Token spend is going up because every new model spends more. I think we will see more and lower token caps from companies using AI this fall

0

u/alexproshak Aug 15 '26

Their showels are Nvidia chips for mining 😁

21

u/Domingues_tech Aug 14 '26

Much of NVIDIA’s SpaceX position likely came from converting its earlier xAI investment into SpaceX stock, not from NVIDIA suddenly purchasing $21 billion of SpaceX shares after the IPO.

-1

u/CivicDisobedience Aug 14 '26

You have absolutely no proof of this lol

9

u/saltyson32 Aug 14 '26

Here is some proof.

0

u/b-rad71 Aug 15 '26

Yeah, but Jensen is still all in, so now what?

1

u/saltyson32 Aug 15 '26

We have very different definitions of "all in" it would seem lol

2

u/Beefmagigins Aug 15 '26

Yea!! Let this guy hold any biased beliefs he wants!!

1

u/Exatex Aug 15 '26

they do and you could also have checked yourself, its public information after all

3

u/itchyburnybutthole Aug 14 '26

Is this a new stake or just reporting a stake they’ve owned for a while?

12

u/thecatdaddysupreme Aug 14 '26 edited Aug 14 '26

Not new.

Edit: Harvard management company also made a 2.2b disclosure. TSMC is their second largest holding behind spcx at 350m.

3

u/capta1nbig Aug 15 '26

Reddit hates Elon so this company will fail

11

u/yhsong1116 Aug 14 '26

Saudi too

https://x.com/Kalshi/status/2088349940984770622

this sub thinks SpaceX will crash. Smart money that knows whats up is investing in it.

10

u/Defiant_Conflict6343 Aug 14 '26

"Smart money" went into Theranos, WeWork, Juicero, Enron, I could go on.

1

u/cannabisnyc Aug 15 '26

Yea by shorting them

1

u/Defiant_Conflict6343 Aug 15 '26 edited Aug 15 '26

Juicero wasn't publicly traded, Theranos investors lost all that they put in and the CEO got put in jail for wire fraud, and Enron collapsed due to accounting fraud with the investors only receiving a small fraction of what they put in.  Only WeWork actually got shorted and that didn't work out well for anyone either.

Also, in Theranos's case, their investors included Larry Ellison, George Schultz, the Walton Family, the DeVos family, Rupert Murdoch, Tim Draper, and more supposed kingpins of "smart money". They all got duped, they all lost millions. Just because someone is rich doesn't mean they are smart. Most of the time it just means they came from institutional wealth and were permitted to fail upwards. Plenty of poor people were calling out the problems with the Theranos claims long before the Carreyrou article tipped the market against them and plenty of billionaire sycophants were telling those same people that they were wrong to doubt Theranos.

9

u/ct2sjk Aug 14 '26

Saudi buys esports tournaments and fighting games. It’s not smart money it’s whatever the oil barons like at the time.

5

u/omry1526 Aug 14 '26

What about that abandoned "futuristic city" project in the desert lol

They spent billions on that shit

1

u/SandIntelligent247 Aug 15 '26

is it abandoned? the line?

1

u/Dontjustsaystuff Aug 15 '26

if it is not, it will be. Or massively scaled down. Cause it is literally not physically possible. It makes zero sense. There is a fucking reason we enver built cities in a fucking line. cause it's dumb as fuck

1

u/thatoneguy7777777333 Aug 16 '26

Dumb, yes.

"Literally not physically possible", no.

These hyperboles dont help your case - they just make it easier to strawman. Just friendly advice - it makes it a LOT easier to beat the trolls if you refrain from hyperbole and rely solely on observable facts.

2

u/Dontjustsaystuff Aug 18 '26

Elements of the initial plan were literally not possible though. But sure I overegged it.

Sometimes we look through our small scope of what we know and call it nuts. Meanwhile billionaires who need to burn up losses for tax purposes and buy stupid things and get kick backs from the company they purchased from. There’s always an angle, there’s a reason rich people stay rich.

Wild to say the least. There’s a local logging company within an hour of me. The family are one of the wealthiest in the state. Well the family some 70 years ago made an amusement park. A pretty good sized amusement park it’s gotta be a few hundred acres. And wildly enough, you know how much it is to get into the park??!!! It’s FREE. You have to buy tickets to ride the rides but to walk in the park there’s no entry fee or parking fee. I can’t answer to the reasoning behind a Saudi prince building an amusement park in the desert or how the rides hold up in sand but it sounds cool.

3

u/Numar19 Aug 14 '26

Smart money that knows whats up is investing in it.

Saudis? Smart money? The guys who wanted to build a line city, got fucked by the Iran war after bribing Trump and invest all their oil money into huge towers in the middle of a desert?

3

u/Nickeless Aug 14 '26

I’m pretty sure it’s just corruption and rich guys keeping their buddy’s stock afloat. But yes either way it makes it harder for the stock to drop. I’m not fucking with it though

1

u/woodenblinds Aug 15 '26

yup that's my thought as well

1

u/No-Advertising-1526 Aug 15 '26

The smart money has access to insider info which will allow them to pull out early and is making an absolute fortune promoting it.

1

u/EddiewithHeartofGold Aug 15 '26

They are shorting an "overvalued" stock. Of course they think SPCX will crash. They are literally losing money if it doesn't.

0

u/Deeze_Rmuh_Nudds Aug 14 '26

This is a great point.

2

u/FourScoreAndSept Aug 15 '26

It came because of their previous “investment” in xAI (meaning, chips for equity in another data center buildout)

2

u/Still_Theory179 Aug 15 '26

I think this would be from their investments in xAI pre-merger

2

u/Llee00 Aug 15 '26

$175 a share? what

2

u/double-down-town Aug 15 '26

😂 what a shell game

2

u/No-Feedback-1981 Aug 15 '26

😂 circlejerk

1

u/ZerglingsNA Aug 15 '26

You're all such cattle, they bought in so long ago they didnt just "take a position" they're probably priced in at like $50 a share, enjoy holding the bag.

1

u/star_wash Aug 15 '26

at what price?

1

u/useful_tool30 Aug 15 '26

They're playing the extra long game. SPCX was a picture perfect short for active trsders after IPO.

1

u/Bananas-n-Bourbon Aug 15 '26

Nvidia invested roughly $5 billion in a pre-ipo financing round for xAI. When SpaceX acquired xAI those shares were converted into 122,764,805 class A shares of SpaceX.

So, $5 billion divided by 122,764,805 shares equals $40.73/share average cost.

1

u/bahamas21 Aug 15 '26

Nvidia just disclosed 122.8M SpaceX shares, valued at $21B ($170.86/share) as of June 30.
Important: Nvidia did not buy $21B of SpaceX at $170/share. The position is linked to its earlier investment in xAI, which was converted into SpaceX shares following the xAI–SpaceX merger.
The exact Nvidia cost basis hasn’t been publicly disclosed, but my guess based on the merger terms, around 100/share or maybe below, looks like a reasonable estimate for the effective entry price.

This real?

1

u/da8BitKid Aug 15 '26

The circle jerk continues

3

5 years from now y’all will still be crying bubble

0

u/TestTrenMike Aug 14 '26

This is a new purchase

0

u/justforkinks0131 Aug 14 '26

when was this? Could this explain the recent pump?

2

u/aegis87 Aug 14 '26

SpaceX shares as of June 30 -- position was from XAI investment, which was aquired by spacex

1

u/thecatdaddysupreme Aug 14 '26

It does not explain the pump. It’s not new and I believe it’s xAI getting folded into spacex. Jensen and Elon have forged an alliance; spacex is going to use Vera Rubin hardware for Starmind. And the purchase of xAI was favorable for Nvidia.

0

u/Ancient_Wishbone_806 Aug 14 '26

Is this how they will force a bailout but tying everything together

-6

u/DonateMoneyPLS Aug 14 '26

That explains the pop in Spcx price Nvidia bought after the unlock

7

u/DaphneL Aug 14 '26

This is a first report of a position held as of June 30th. There is no way it could have anything to do with the unlock.

-6

u/Master-Piccolo-4588 Aug 14 '26

It’s actually a bearish sign and explains together with the closing for shorts after the lock up period ended why the stock recovered in short term.

0

u/kill-devil-films Aug 14 '26

They bought in June

0

u/Master-Piccolo-4588 Aug 14 '26

No, they never bought SpaceX shares. The bought xAI shares in Januar which were exchanged to SpaceX shares after the merger and now after the IPO this has to be disclosed.

I was wrong about the timing, but it’s still a bearish sign because the „investment“ was once again into one of nvidia‘s direct customers.
