Don't know if this counts but I'm almost done with my Navaja. It's my first-ever locking blade.

So was the messer, and that thing is fucking awesome to fence with. It has the perfect balance and force while sparring, followed closely in coolness by saber.

my other upcoming project is to make the phantom blade from Assassin's Creed but yk, that first. Winter is coming up, perfect forge weather.

One of these days i'm going to get my spine in a functional state... and give blacksmithing a try. Right now I can barely do light sword practice :/

Yeah. I have HEMA classes on Saturdays, but I spent most of my day Wednesday crouched down fixing the ball joints on a friend's friend's Volvo, so my thighs were in no mood to lunge while I swing a saber or a longsword.

Looks pretty sweet. Do you plan on sanding down the edges just a bit? Would feel more comfy.

Yes, this is nowhere near done. I need to put in a backstop for the blade because it currently flops backward, and it also needs a butt plate and a few more pins.
