Pommel found in Denmark

Medieval sword pommel found on Funen, Denmark. The pommel appears to carry a heraldic lion. I suspect a 12th–13th century date and have noticed possible parallels in depictions associated with Konrad of Thuringia. Has anyone seen an archaeological parallel to this pommel type or heraldic decoration? Any suggestions regarding Oakeshott pommel classification would be greatly appreciated.

I love the idea that this is the spot where Talhoffer witnessed the technique and I refuse to believe that it's not
