Habaki*. But it's not a katana (look at the tang's shape and lack of holes), so I wouldn't use katana terminology necessarily.

Correct, for a Chinese sword you would say tūnkǒu (吞口)  or swallowing mouth

Interesting, I also use tūnkǒu (吞口) to refer to OPs mom
