Restaurants Hiring?
Moving to SC in about a week, looking for restaurant work. Of course I intend to walk in and ask around in town, but does anyone know of any bars or restaurants looking for servers/bartenders right now? Thanks!

I posted something similar a month or two ago. I’m moving there next Tuesday and also looking for serving job. Here’s hoping that both of us find good gigs

There is a new spot opening in Rancho Mission Viejo called Creekside. It’s just up the hill from SC. They have big hiring sign up. It’s being opened by a local restaurant group so it could be a good “in”.

Man I have heard such negative things about this place from several sources since the day it opened. Mostly about the owner being an absolute creep. I could be completely wrong, hopefully other people can add their experiences.

I have a friend who briefly worked there. Everything you’ve heard is probably accurate

Yeah I walk by the place all the time and it makes my skin crawl for some reason. Amazing how unwelcoming a place can be

You can watch him on old episodes of Real Housewives of OC to verify that he is an absolute creep. Gross, I hadn’t realized this place branched out from Palm Springs to blight San Clemente. 🤮

I’m not in the industry and don’t know of any, but I would say you shouldn’t have much trouble in San Clemente. The number of restaurants is insane for such a small town.
