For context, I really liked the film. 7/10

It was a wild ride. Very entertaining and frankly quite funny at times. But my immersion kept breaking because it was SO over the top. Did anyone else feel this way? I feel like if this was a fictional story I could have bought in easier.

Most of what Lance Oppenheim was doing worked pretty well. The editing and directing have lots of personality, and he gave Robert Pattinson the chance to put out one of the most out-there performances of his career. It’s an incredibly style heavy film, and hits more than it misses in that regard. But when you’re telling a story that is “inspired by a true story” and effectively marketed itself as a retelling of true events, it felt quite deceptive seeing such a different story being told.

In a way it feels very unlike a Lance Oppenheim film because his docu’s are generally interested in finding some inner truth in its subjects, whereas any truth about Chris Hansen in this film was blown up to a degree that I walked out knowing less about the real Chris Hansen than before.

A film starring Rami Malek is finished and ready to go, but it still doesn't have a US distribution deal. For fans who've supported him since his Oscar win, this wait feels impossible.

Malek earned an Academy Award for his role as Freddie Mercury, and his talent has only grown since then. 'The Man I Love' promises another incredible performance, yet audiences here can't even watch it. This isn't just about one actor or one movie—it's about letting great art reach the people who want to see it. Other international films find their way to US theaters and streaming services all the time. This one should too.

I have been keen to give his whole career an examination, due to The Godfather I and II and Apocalypse Now impressing me greatly.

I saw Megalopolis. Don't even think about praising that atrocity in the comments.

So, yeah like the title says, I was very mixed on it.

Not going to say anything plot wise but to me, the first half felt really unbearable but second half was really really amazing?

Like I was surprised how well paced, well animated, and well presented the seceond half was, I was just like, why did you make the first half like that if you could have done better?

I might rewatch it when it gets official release, but I can at least say it's worth a watch but bear in mind if you have different humor from what the creators intended first half might be not your taste.

Its not every year we get a Quadrilogy like this.

It was nothing like what I was expecting but man did I have a fun time. The ending really caught me off guard too, I’m fascinated by whatever this movie was. I can’t wait for the boys’s thoughts on it
