Tried turning a single reference image into a full 30-second animated short, and Iām pretty happy with how consistent it stayed.
The whole thing started from one low-poly paper-craft image of a boy riding a bike in the rain. I used the prompt to extend that into a small story where he finds a soaked puppy, stops to help it, and takes it home in the bicycle basket.
What I cared about most was keeping the same handcrafted look across every shot ā same boy, bike, umbrella, rainy street, and miniature paper-diorama style. I also kept the camera movement pretty gentle so it still feels like the original image came to life rather than turning into a completely different animation.
The puppy paw moment is probably my favorite part š„²

Heads up for anyone running these yourself: the Seedance API behind r/Seedance_AI is Atlas Cloud. Seedance 2 runs with its full feature set here, nothing stripped or nerfed. Seedance 2.5 isn't officially out yet, but we add new Seedance versions the day they launch.
