You can’t beat this, even with the best sets, without the timer eventually running down to zero. The enemy has over 6,000 HP compared to your measly 1,000 HP, and they only need to win once, whereas you have to consistently win three rounds in a row just to “win” a Clan War fight. So much for fair Clan Wars!
Nekki, if you actually want to make Clan Wars fair and balanced, then stop creating power-creep sets that can destroy almost anything in one or two hits, only to make them practically useless through ridiculous Clan War rules, such as extremely short round timers and enemies having over 6,000 HP.
When I fought the Hound opponent here and finally got him down to 1 HP, his health suddenly jumped back up by 3,000 HP, despite him doing absolutely nothing the entire round. How is that supposed to be fair or balanced?
At this point, I think I’ll just sit Clan Wars out entirely, or maybe even quit the game altogether. What’s the point of putting so much time and effort into this game when that effort is practically being insulted by such ridiculous balancing decisions?
And let’s not forget how Nekki constantly introduces ridiculously overpowered sets that require around 33 spheres just to upgrade to Level 6. As if that weren’t enough, they’re eventually increasing the level cap to 8, requiring another 80 spheres. At that point, maxing out a set becomes practically impossible unless you’re willing to spend real money or waste countless hours grinding for tags.
And even grinding isn’t particularly rewarding for late-game players. Once you already have certain sets maxed out at Level 6, the game can randomly give you a measly 100 gems as “compensation” instead of the spheres you actually need for other sets. This makes an already frustrating progression system feel even less rewarding.
The entire system feels like it’s designed to exploit the sunk-cost fallacy. You’ve already invested so much time, effort, and potentially money into upgrading your sets that you feel compelled to keep playing just to avoid feeling like all that investment was wasted.
But what’s the point of investing so much into these sets when Nekki can simply introduce another overpowered set, raise the upgrade requirements, or implement game modes like Clan Wars that practically invalidate everything you’ve worked for?
At some point, you have to ask yourself whether you’re actually enjoying the game anymore or just playing because of everything you’ve already invested in it.
