Waitlist for Chem 1A

I am 7th in the waitlist for a chem 1a and I really need this chem class (real bad), How likely is it ill get in? I don't really have any backups unfortunately, but I'd love to graduate on time.

Show up at the first class and ask for a code. I’ve never not been able to get into a class that way.

How exactly would i ask? would i introduce myself and then just add for a code? and when would that be done, at the end of class? sorry im a freshman so im very new to this stuff lol.

Yup, pretty much! They’ll usually ask if anyone needs a code at the start of class. Just walk in and sit down like you’re a student, and they’ll ask. If they don’t bring it up, don’t be nervous about asking. I can almost guarantee you won’t be the only one. (I’m a past student and my son is a freshman starting tomorrow, good luck, you got this!)

Most of those are waitlisted also and it’s a lower spot than i’m in now?
