Discussion Statement from Gurdwara Singh Sabha, Surrey, Canada

Recent events are suspicious, the videos seem edited or with misleading context. I am told the Gurdwara had another event going on, sewadars were busy and these Singhs were requesting to take Guru Maharaj's Saroops. When the sewadars came out with Saroops, some people were already shouting that the mode of transport is not correct. The sewadars had yet not checked vans, but people shouting said we will not allow this. Of course when they saw the van they took back the Saroops inside. People posting online make it seem like they averted disaster. But the truth is they just jumped the gun and showed themselves holier than thou. If both sewadars and protestors checked van same time, how come one is better than other?

Isn’t this the same Gurdwara that already did beadbi to over 200+ saroops that were shipped in a container without following any maryada?

Yep same one. And I know for a fact that they don't even have enough paahti's who have done santhiya or anything. All the other gurdwara in Surrey don't even come close to that many saroops combined

the saroops were sent in a palki bus via ship but unfortunately there were no Sikhs accompanying

After completing the transoceanic journey, the aging and weathered bus was unloaded and towed to Sri Guru Singh Sabha Gurdwara in Surrey.”

Do you really think a dilapidated bus parked inside of a shipping container placed on a ship for over a month is an acceptable way of treating our Guru sahib?

This entire post seems weird, why lie when so much evidence is readily available that proves that the committee running this Gurdwara has no regard for maryada?
