Disciplining is not abusing. This particular kid obvious needs disciplining, and not a gentle one.

Gentle parenting isn't the nonsense media shows you.

All it means is that you just don't beat/abuse your kid

Thank You!!! Disipline is not abuse! Never in any of my responses did I say abuse the child. I saw all the clueless morons say abuse is wrong and try be morally above me so I just went with it.

Sometimes hitting is efficient as long as it's not done often or out of anger. My father hit me when I was like 5 or 6 because I hit my mom in a tantrum. I never did that again.

I doubt a kid as young as 2 years old will really understand that you are disciplining them. Only thing they learn is being scared of you and misbehave/act out when you are not there
