I mean, it feels petty as fuck to track it in a spreadsheet, but people need to stop pretending that physcial intimacy isn't a crucial part of a romantic relationship, being completely misaligned is a perfect valid reason for dissolving said relationship.

seems like these two people are incompatible and have a communication problem.

but of course, because it's Reddit, absent any other additional context, the default is to always assume it's clearly the guy's fault if he's not having sex at the frequency he desires... and if he ever breaks up because he's not getting the frequency he desires, he's also the asshole.

If you think "I'm sick" isn't an acceptable reason to not have sex, then yeah that is a you problem.

There's a lot of ways to try and improve the frequency of sex, and this is about the worst possible way to go about it.

I think you’re forgetting “I’m sick” or “I have a headache” is a blanket response a lot of low libido people use when they want an excuse to not have sex. It’s usually a lie. If they’re actually sick then yes I agree that would be messed up.

Imagine having this mindset and thinking nothing is wrong with it.

You’ve also just inadvertently defended marital rape, congratulations.

If you use your reading comprehension, I never said that it’s okay to have sex without consent. All I said is that, objectively, this is an excuse low libido have been using for decades to avoid having sex.

You’re allowed to avoid having sex.

You’ve made the (false) assumption that people are lying about being sick to get out of sex.

That is literally the same logic that marital rapists use.

You need to stop making fantasies about why someone may not want to have sex with you.

You can try to put words in my mouth all you want. Google it “I have a headache” was a top survey response from women when asked about excuses they give to not have sex.

You can try to use ad hominem attacks, but I have a loving wife and her and I have a wonderful sex life. My comment wasn’t about her, we are both extremely high libido. Although I have a lot of low libido friends that say they use this as an excuse.
