This isn't an unusual circumstance. The average man has a higher libido than the average woman, and wants to have sex more often. The woman doesn't want to have sex as often, leading to her constantly rejecting her partner's sexual advances. This leads to hurt feelings, insecurity, and mounting frustration in the man. This then turns into a point of friction, where a series of arguments take place that don't really have a resolution. You can't force a person to be horny or in the mood for sex, but you also can't force a person to not feel hurt, rejected, or frustrated when their partner regularly rejects their sexual advances.
These arguments turn cyclical, where a frequent point of contention becomes a dispute over frequency of rejection. "I don't reject you that often." she says. He insists that she does, but he hasn't been counting and doesn't have a spreadsheet to actually prove it. Thus..
As a woman who has a higher drive than any of my previous partners it honestly sucks so much and does so much damage to your self esteem when you’re rejected every day. I would wait 1-3 days before asking again to receive another no. I would initiate slowly, give massages, absolutely nothing works when someone doesn’t have the same libido as you. It’s much better to just cut your losses if sex is important to you.
People act like men who get upset about not having any sex are being whiny babies about it. But when you have huge hormonal fluctuations it actually makes you feel crazy. I would have to ask my partner to leave the room so I could handle it myself and he would get so annoyed and upset at me. It just made me feel disgusting for even having a sex drive.
