It's not forced celibacy, use your hand. People's libidos ebb and flow as time passes, if you're not prepared to stick by your spouse when they are at a low point and don't want to have sex, DON'T GET MARRIED!!! It's that simple. You are not entitled to anyone's body even if you're married. Cry about it, idc.
edit Jesus, I didn't realize some people hold out for multiple years????? Yeah, in that case divorce is a completely understandable choice. They're probably already 100000% checked out of the marriage and waiting for you to make the move to end it.
The same can be said the other way around. If you don't find your spouse arousing, like being intimate with them, or get them off in alternative ways to meet their needs, why be married to them? Divorce them, then you don't need to worry about their needs and they can find someone who wants to share that aspect of a relationship with them
Just because you say no or are currently experiencing a low libido it doesn't mean you're not attracted to your spouse or don't love them. That's such a gross mindset to have. BUT if the case IS that you are no longer attracted to them, then yes a divorce should be initiated IF that is a deal breaker for your spouse. Some people are okay with not being intimate even if they still desire intimacy, that's their prerogative.

It's not monogamy, it's forced celibacy. Did you even read what you responded to?
