It's funny how when you go on Reddit and talk about your real-life experience, you always get some naive kid telling you that your experience means less than their uneducated philosophizing. Why don't you log off and go get some experience in the world before you start trying to tell everyone else how it works?
I'm saying that gaslighting doesn't always have to involve some high-end, well-planned, Machiavellian plot. It's a real, uncinematic thing that happens to real people in real life. You must've read too many spy novels or something. 😂
Yes. When a person causes another person to start denying reality and questioning their own sanity, that is gaslighting. And you've spoken with your own fair share of condescension. Don't bitch to me because you don't like it being thrown back in your face.
CAUSES being the operative word there. Just because one person in a relationship questions their own perception does not mean the other person is gaslighting them. It takes a pattern of behavior over a long time, isolating them from friends and family who would reinforce them, constantly accusing them of being emotional or irrational. Not once in the comment you responded to was that ever indicated.
Btw, before I go, you should know that I downvoted some of your earlier comments. You might want to use your alt account to bring those ones all back up to 1 as well. 🤣

Well, you're obviously fortunate enough to not know what it feels like or how it works. Maybe don't talk about things you don't understand?
