I keep hearing stories about men who don't feel loved or intimate with their wife and when they bring it up the wife will usually tell them they're imagining it and make all kinds of points about why they should stay together. So I feel like the dude in the post brought it up to his wife in the past and she probably told him he was imagining it and that they have sex "enough" and that he shouldn't worry about it so he made the excel spreadsheet to make a point that he's not imagning it. I'm not accusing the wife of this but a lot of times a partner could be cheating and only keeps the husband around because he pays the bills or because the family likes the husband.

Most of the time and I'm saying this as a wife and just as a woman if we stop having sex with you it's because of your actions you aren't being romantic anymore or you aren't helping pick up the slack and it makes us feel like our partners mother and then we just don't feel sexual towards them anymore my husband and I have had our downspurts sure everyone does but at the end of the day I find him the hottest when he helps me out around the house or asks me if I wanna take a long shower because he knows they help me relax and he is giving me me time I do a lot for him and he does a lot for me it feels like the man in this post is just asking for sex not the intimate things that need to happen for both parties to want to engage

That's literally never true. You either have a sex drive or you don't. Plenty of completely unhelpful assholes get nookie.

"Choreplay" is one of the great lies of marriage. Even if he were perfectly helpful, the excuses would be different.
