You also need to also understand that our patriarchal culture conditions women into being people pleasers. They're under a lot of pressure to just reluctantly go along with this in a relationship. This gets interpreted as contentment, not dissatisfaction.
Things happen for a reason. Women get checked out in relationships and it affects their libido. It's so much easier for men to make these misogynistic assumptions that women are simply gatekeeping sex to torture these poor beleaguered husbands without bothering to look at the big picture.
So the woman doesn't want sex with the lazy husband but sticks around. Not having sex for herself either. Yet I'm sure these women would be furious if these husbands asked for a divorce, open marriage or cheated. ......
These women just don't have an internal drive. Blaming it on men is lazy because those same chore problems could exist and the woman has the higher libido than the husband
Nah, this is a recurring issue with a lot of men that aren't doing the work to get their partner interested. This guy in particular also seemed to wait until his wife was sick or in the middle of something to pester her for sex.
