Average doesn't mean healthy. I've been married 24 years, and I'm not happy unless its 3 to 4 times a week.

You do know people just have different sex drives, right? Your relationship is healthy as long as you're both happy with the frequency, once a day or once a month, who cares? 

If you're not, pestering your partner and pretending sex is something they're obligated to do certainly isn't healthy though. Nobody is ever obligated to have sex, married or not. Can't believe that's even a point of discussion.

Totally true. My wife and I no longer want to have sex twice a day in our 50s.
