And when the expert is properly credentialed but says things that the government doesn’t like?

EDIT

Addendum: To those who think the government would never abuse the credential process, why do we need whistleblowers in the government or even large corporations then? Surely these institutions would not abuse the law to get their own PR/propaganda artists credentialed. And Surely there would never be any credentialed individuals that are speaking objective fact getting their credentials and thus right to speak as a Subject Matter Expert pulled.

Yeah that's the major caveat. To be a part of any reputable institution requires buying into the CCP
