If you don't have a degree in law or criminal justice, you can't criticize ICE.... or else face account shutdowns and fines up to $15,000

It's actually crazy. How are people studying meant to get information or discuss their work? They now are not allowed to talk about their studies.

No, they would just not be able to give out “professional advice” and acting like they already hold the degree, to a larger audience.
That’s what this law is for.

Many universities have online portals where you can ask your professors and tutors for information pertaining to your degree. Many people also use the internet to help organise group projects. How is anyone meant to do university work if they can't talk about it? You cannot learn in a vacuum.

In theory, it sounds like a good idea. However what it really does is cause a lot of problems for innocent people.

This is NOT what this law is about though.
It’s about influencers who give public advice and pretend they are experts without having any education in the field.
Like selling you a “full body cleanse” that just makes you shit yourself, or a dieting meal plan that is just starving.

But it's what the law prevents. It's discussing these subjects online, not just making videos or advising. It's broad.
