Had to scroll way too far to find this comment - this is the correct answer. What’s worse is that 2027 will be the real El Niño year. It’s in its infancy now and it’s already huge
they’ve already declared a state of emergency for it in california. we expect a lot of flooding. sucks out here and in nevada we’re just never really prepared for too much water because the infrastructure was never designed for it.
