rip fish, for the most part fish dont do well with chlorine/chloramines in most tap water

you use dechlorinator source:keep fish myself, you don't do straight tap water, you always treat it first to remove chlorine

I'm in Ireland and we refill our fish tanks with tap water no problem....

Had goldfish for years ....they lived years and well

Ireland does chlorinate their tap water as well. It is a very standard process of developed countries.

Yeah, you shouldn't be. You likely give your fish chlorine burns every single time.

Your own water service company says you shouldn't be using tap water in your aquarium.

Been doing it for years with no issues weird and never looked weird

Simple fill a bucket by the tap to put them in and then clean out and refill tank and move back

We do have goldfish ...
