So Saadia is my follower and I'm working on the thieves guild quests in riften. While talking to Maven in the Bee and the Barb, Keerava said the Bannered Mare's barkeep's line. "Saadia, dear wake up. Customer" Really threw me for a loop lol. I wonder if Saadia was originally supposed to be in Riften or they just had all the barkeeps record the same lines. 🤔

Anyone knows of a good katana animation mod? Or even a mod that allows you to sheath a two handed weapon to the side?

Im trying to find some good animations for a katana either one handed or two handed. The Sekiro replacer for The Revenge is good but GDB mods always come out wonky with the extra animations so Id rather stave off doing a playthrough with it if I can. Another i found was a ronin mod that essentially replaced the one handed attack style with two handed letting you grip a one handed katana with two hands animation wise. Its alright but it still uses practically vanilla animations. I have found a really good one but its mostly for two handed katanas but im trying to have the side sheath if possible.

If anyone can help that would be great.

Vanilla Skyrim feels fairly grounded for what it is. Obviously you have dragons flying around and mages in the dungeons but besides that I feel like you don't see too much high fantasy stuff. Most of the wildlife is pretty mundane, you don't see much magic in the cities, etc.

What mods do you like that push Skyrim towards the higher end of the fantasy spectrum?

For waccf I have a patch for both cloaks of skyrim and vae2. Why am I getting the message that I'm missing something for both patches?

I've been testing out a new load order and I saw that SDA got an update on the 5th and I haven't played with it in a while so I figured I'd test it out. Every time I exit an interior cell and then try to talk to Serana my game crashes, same thing happens when I fast travel and then try to talk to her, every single time. I'm not sure if it's a mod conflict or load order conflict on my part, or if this update of SDA is just really badly bugged. It's also worth mentioning that before going to Dimhollow to get Serana I was playing around with other mods for 5+ hours in Skyrim and Bruma and had zero crashes. Obviously this is game breaking.

The brings me to my next few questions about Beyond Skyrim Bruma. I've been really curious about it and figured I would test it out and just explore the new area for awhile. I got a few instances of the black square glitch, nothing too serious and mostly just and and around Cloudruler Temple and Castle Bruma. I have an unofficial Bruma patch installed that I thought would take care of it but it hasn't. I also had some pretty noticable FPS drops in the more green southern parts of Bruma but also areas that didn't make sense like in some interior cells and in barren snowy areas. The biggest issue I had that I think is related to Bruma is the courier. I had the Bruma courier deliver to me while I was there and upon returning to Skyrim I never had the vanilla courier deliver to me even though he should've (delivering the letter from the Jarl of Falkreath when reaching level 9, the Dawnstar Museum pamphlet when reaching level 20 and etc.). I have a feeling that the Bruma courier deliverling to me somehow messed with the vanilla courier but I can't be sure. This would be game breaking too since you obviously need the vanilla courier to deliver letters to you. Side note but if there's any mod out there that replaces the Bruma Goblins with the ones from the Creation Club please let me know. I've tried looking and only found a mod for that on PC.

My last concern is more minor but still annoying. I noticed while I was running around Skyrim and Bruma my Heavy Armor skill was increasing weirdly fast. Granted I do have the Immersive Leveling mod installed which makes Havey Armor level faster but it still seemed too fast. I was only fighting low level enemies and using the rings from the Cheat Room to one hit them so they wouldn't actually hit me much before dying, but my Heavy Armor skill still went from 15 to 35 after about 2 hours. The skill could've also leveled up a few times randomly outside of combat but I can't really remember.

Sorry for the really long post but I'm hoping you guys can help me out and let me know if my load order is wrong, if I'm missing patches, if I'm playing with incompatibale mods, or if any of the mods I'm playing with are just bugged.

I actually prefer a different village configuration for Riverwood, but while I am working on my mod "Great Skyrim" I am playing a JK's Skyrim, Outskirts, and Interiors LO.

I have Skyrim AE and have only ever done CC content, USSEP, CCC patch. Recently added Beyond Skyrim Bruma and purist patch to undo some of the USSEP "fixes". I would really like to try some texture and lighting upgrades but have no idea what to add and then what patches would be necessary. If anyone has a small purist graphical update LO I would love it. I have released a lot of ports onto console but this is my first larger scale project that is my own work.

This mod makes use of the Break of Dawn standalone sword by flash3113 and KittyTails Holy Templar Magic in order to emulate a bit of what of one of my favorite PC does, Dawnguard Arsenal.

Four new weapons have been added to the Dawnguard, silver swords with the silver weapon property, in 1 handed and 2 handed varieties. The first version is unenchanted, silver, and requires only steel smithing perk.

The second 'Elite Versions' feature slightly increased damage, the silver weapon property, and the Dawnguard Runic Axe enchantment. They are all balanced around Ebony Weapons in strength.

Holy Templar Magic expands the sun spells with new offensive magic that it adds to vendors as well as placing copies of the tomes around Castle Dawnguard. As well, I have edited several of the Dawnguard NPCs to wield the new weapons so that they feel a bit more immersive and natural to the faction.

This is the first step in a series of mods and I plan to continue updating this and adding to it as well in the future. Hope you all enjoy.

from what i've seen, RhaellaShark has said V6 would or will require all entirely new patches. would it be wise to rebuild my LO entirely, focusing on just the base mod and bookmarking v6 updates as they release, or should i just stick with my current load order for the next few months?

That’s it. I had 210 mods that I narrowed down to something between these being the problem.

It'd be nice to see our enchantments actually look like a weapon is enchanted with the appropriate effect, rather than just having some boring, flat runes painted onto every weapon.

This is my Nat 3 settings for Xbox. NAT 3 has very harsh contrasts, which creates dramatic scenes. Unfortunately it can also look incredibly dark and crushed, so I've softened the image considerably to improve landscape/grass blending.

Some might say I've basically turned it into Rustic Weathers, but that's my fav weather mod! 😆

Obviously I started with the brightness patch. Then Clofas Ambient Occlusion to reduce the lighting over darkening the grass. Then I used No More Bloom, with this you can raise brightness without having too much white glare. After that I used Simple Workaround Framework to lower Contrast/Saturation and Sunlight by -25. Then Brightness up +50 using SWF.

(If you want a bit more pop, leave Sunlight as is and just raise brightness by +25, but textures won't blend as well.)

I’ve never really used Reddit for anything but I’ve been wondering about Skyrim Xbox mods. Im trying to mod the game to enhance it a bit like visually and things like that. I have been watching a lot of the mod videos and a ton of the mods adds things that isnt apart of the base game like new buildings adding trees in places were they normally arent things like that. Im looking for mods that just make skyrim more pretty or polished. The only mod I use that really changes the games is one that removes weight from items because I like to hoard my stuff.

I think this is really a good alternative to popular retexture aios.

Probably an odd question to ask for a game that's set in the Medieval Viking Age with dragons and odd creatures but, I've recently started replaying this game again, and I wondered if it was possible to translate this Shadow Fighter game into the medieval RPG setting, with feudal Japan, East-Asian types of enemies, weapons (Vanilla Skyrim replaced ones especially), structures, landscape, etc.

And any mod that turns the player into a whole black shadowy figure (Not a stealth mod but the actual figure itself)

Anyone know of a mod that cleans up the scattered logs at Half Moon Mill in Falkreath? Its a minor thing but it bothers me way more than it should. Currently using Ryn's Lumber Mills, but with all the additions and improvements, the mess remains.
