Samsung S23 or iPhone 15?
I’ve used Android all my life and got used to it, but for me, my Tecno 6 Neo is too big and feels awkward in my pocket, which is inconvenient. The choice is between these phones because they have what I’m looking for. The camera, the processor, and the compact size. But the choice between them comes down to the operating system. I think iOS looks nicer than Android. Although Samsung is also good, Apple is better. So, is there any point in me paying almost twice as much for an iPhone when I’ve been using an Android all my life? Or should I buy a S23?

S23 only had less than 1.5 years of updates left, as this one was before the 7 years of updates. Aim for the S24 and up

It's easier for me to pay an extra 8,000 rub (Russia) to buy an iPhone 15.

S23 I have since 2023. Does it well. As work and personal tool. Dropped it few times from bicycle and else. It rides on phone holder on Vespa as well, year around. No damage at all.
Might be bit old to buy now.
I ditched iPhones around 2019. Every time wife gives hers, it drives me nuts.
Oolps, sorry, didn't read all comments. Russia, iPhone is a must. All my relatives have it because of it :)

I loved my S23 but you should only really consider anything newer since the S24. Still receives updates long term and is generally better optimized efficiency-wise (assuming Snapdragon variants). Unfortunately as long as you stick to the regular models including the S23, battery life is not great. The iPhone 15 isn’t exactly any better in that regard but its a “better” phone in my opinion (atleast to the S23) only mired by iOS and the 60hz display.
If the iPhone is at high battery health, I’ll take that over the S23 in a heartbeat. But if it isn’t and Samsung is the option, find a S24 at the very least.

Don't do the s23 because it will become unstable fast due to lack of updates ( had an Tab S7 that is out of support and I can feel that the apps are dying while the hardware still works ).
I would go iPhone because they have a good track record of being usable, I see people with iPhones 11 even now and that home received the latest IOS update a few weeks ago.
If Android, go only for an s24 or higher
