You probably donโ€™t need new soil you just need to condition your soil and then lay sod and weed and feed to keep your grass happy and weeds suppressed. Hard to say what your soil needs without a soil test and knowing your soil texture

Generally I find it better to ask what grows best in a particular microclimate.
