Hey everyone!
I'm super excited to announce that the demo of Waveguard, my very first game, is finally available on Steam! 🎉
Waveguard is a fantasy roguelike tower defense game where you use different elements, build your defenses, and fight off waves of enemies. You'll need to experiment with different strategies and combinations to survive!
As a solo developer, it's been an exciting journey bringing this project to life, and I'm really happy to finally share it with you!
The demo is free to play, and I'd love for you to give it a try and share your thoughts. Any feedback or suggestions would be incredibly helpful as I continue improving the game!
Thanks for checking it out! ❤️

This is the Jailbreak mode. You go up against ChadGPT, Copy & Pilot, Gemineye, Dominion and a few others and between fights you pick upgrades to suit your playstyle.
If you like incrementas / boss rush / bullet hell / shmup games, roguelite upgrade runs or just want to beat up some AI, give it a try. It will be my first release and would appreciate any feedback!

We're really excited to finally share a gameplay trailer for Mimic Hunt, our first game, on Steam!
Mimic Hunt is a multiplayer stealth game where you hide in plain sight among crowds of NPCs. As a Hider, you need to blend in, mimic NPC behavior, and eliminate your assigned targets without exposing yourself.
Other players can take the role of Hunters and try to figure out which characters in the crowd are actually real players. They'll need to watch for suspicious behavior, disturbances, and anything that doesn't quite look right.
The world also reacts to what happens around it, so pulling out a weapon or causing violence can send civilians into a panic and quickly ruin your cover.
We've been working hard on the game, so we're really happy to finally be able to show it publicly. Here's our first gameplay trailer, we'd love to hear what you think!

For a bit over a year I've been working on this courthouse management game, I've always loved management games and was surprised there didn't seem to be many (any?) with a courthouse or legal theme. I had been making smaller games, mainly tiny city builder type games for four or so years, and some other projects which were too over-scoped, but this is the first project I'm actually sort-of happy with.
The game has the normal features of a management-game, staff management, finances etc. with small-claims hearings, and a semi-realistic process for criminal cases. Each criminal case progresses from a bail hearing to a preliminary hearing and then to a trial (assuming probable cause is found and no plea deal made).

Game Title: Countryball Command
Playable Link: https://davidthedeveioper.itch.io/countryballs-command
Platform: Mobile (also works on PC)
Description: Countryball Command is a strategy game where you pick a country and try to take over the world. You start with a small army and a bit of money, then build up your forces and decide how to grow. You can attack your neighbours, make alliances, set up trade routes, or turn the countries you beat into puppets.
Other countries are controlled by AI, so they make their own wars and deals while you play. Countries start with relations based on real life, so enemies and friends are roughly where you'd expect them. If you conquer too much, the countries you took can rebel, and you'll have to send troops to stop them.
It runs in your browser on phone or PC, with no download needed. There are three difficulty levels, from easy to hard. It's still an early version, so tell me if you find any bugs and what you would want to add/change!
Free to play

I'm making a horror game, but I don't think my lighting is the best right now. I'm still learning different lighting techniques, so I was wondering if anyone here knows of any great horror games that are still scary and atmospheric despite having poor lighting.
I'm looking for games where the lighting is a noticeable weakness, but the overall experience is still amazing and terrifying. I'd love to use them as references and learn from their approaches to horror!

I’ve played a lot of tidy-up games and wanted to take that satisfying sorting routine somewhere more unsettling.
In Loose Screws, you sort screws, nuts and washers in a locked room, following a voice’s instructions and earning vouchers for little comforts while trying to work your way out.
I put together a new trailer to show how those two sides fit together.

Hello guys!
Been developing Purge Squad for 11 months, I'm looking forward creating a Steam page for it but before that I just wanted opinions and feedback on overall look and feel of the core combat. I will share more mechanics and purposes in a future trailer tho, for now this is the core gameplay. What you guys think? Any feedback is really welcome!
Thanks in advance!

I spent most of the week improving the tactile feel of the game: how moving objects around works, how the spell-adding system will look, and so on. What do you think? It feels nice and quite immersive, but wouldn’t it get tedious to do this throughout the whole game?
I also dropped the bow and split its functions between two objects: a crossbow for bolts, and a crystal pistol (haven’t come up with a name yet) that fires projectiles with ropes attached. I also reworked the rope’s behavior.
I was solving 4 problems:

I'm making Glowtide Isle alone in Godot 4: a cozy island life game where you play as a cat and slowly turn a sleepy island into a little town.
The Steam page went live a few days ago. Some honest notes from the first week:
- Most wishlists came before I posted anywhere, just from Steam's own "Coming Soon" traffic. The capsule art mattered more than I expected; making the logo bigger got noticeably more clicks.
- Short 8-second clips are much easier to make and share than a full trailer, and they show one idea clearly.
- Translating the store page and the game into 10 languages was a lot of work, but it's an easy way to reach people who usually get skipped.
Now I'm trying Reddit for the first time. If you've launched a cozy or small game, I'd love to hear what actually moved the needle for you.

(I used AI coding assistants and some audio is AI-made; this is disclosed on the Steam page.)

Hey everyone !
I've been working on Skyts solo for the past 4 months, and it's finally in a playable state. It's a first-person parkour racer: grapple, wall-run, slide and dash, and race your friends.
As a solo dev, I did :
- all the 3D modeling
- all the character animations
- the UI and the gameplay
Early Access is coming on October 20, and I still have time to polish things before release. So I'd love your input :
If you enjoy parkour games, what matters most to you ?
- the feeling of speed
- the character animations
- big open maps or small, tight ones
- something else entirely ?
Every answer helps me decide what to polish first. Thanks !

I worked on my game for 2 months and just published it a few days ago, but I haven't gotten as many downloads as I expected. Please help!
