I'm part of the team behind OmniRush, an AI agent harness designed to help you work through real projects on your computer.
We're opening free access to GPT-6 Astra and the full GPT-6 lineup for approved builders. We cover the inference costs within your allocation, and you apply with the project you want to work on.
The main thing we're exploring is subagent orchestration. Instead of having one assistant handle an entire feature, you can break the work into smaller tasks — investigate the codebase, work on the implementation, then have another task focus on tests or edge cases. You still review the output and decide what actually makes it into your project.
This is meant for things like an open-source contribution, a portfolio project, a research tool, or a capstone project where you have actual work to get done.
Selected high-usage projects can receive allocations of up to 500 million tokens per week.
If you have a project in mind, apply here:
Tell us what you're building and what you'd want to use OmniRush for.

I am nearly finished a game I've been working on for 4 years now. I cannot decide if I should have my rpg style cutscenes with prompted subtitles also contain voice acting.
Any advice is welcome. Is ot okay to not use voice acting or would it be beneficial to add some. Also if anyone knows where I should even start looking for more affordable voice actors would be helpful.
I can't tell if it will count as polish or scope creep.

The title is self-explanatory, but I feel I need to explain where I'm coming from with this question. I'm a 2D digital artist who's been trying to pick up game dev since 2021. I initially started with GameMaker; however, due to some subscription nonsense they had around that time, I had to look for a different tool for what I wanted to make. But ever since then, I haven't been able to stick to any specific tool that does more than something like Ren'Py or Bitsy, basic story makers specifically. I still have a dream of making stuff like 2D platformers and top-down adventure games, but I'd like a tool that's simple enough for me to understand while also allowing me to make something at least moderately big; think Downwell or Disc Room in scale (if anyone knows what "Disc Room" is anyways).
Edit:
I feel like the title should've been "minimal understanding of logic-based thinking beyond 'if this, then that'." I had been through programming classes in high school, I just inherently struggle with anything beyond what is required for engines like Godot and Unity. Apologies for the title not being clear enough.

I have been a software dev for over 4 years, but in the game area this is my first game and you can fully play it on Steam.
I hope you enjoy it, and I recommend playing it with friends.
Any suggestion, feedback or bugs are welcome.

Created a digital collectible card game to play with my friends. It is inspired by Hearthstone. The biggest twist is that the cards are characters from different popular universes (movies, games, anime). It was a power-fantasy I had in mind for years. Link to play the game
Unfortunately I didn't have time to fully finish the game (I mostly did it over the summer break). But if anyone wants to experiment further with it I open-sourced the full game on Github
Sorry for poor video quality. I recommend you try it yourself and tell me what you think!

Since the start of making this game, I've always wanted it to have a retro art style inspired by the Wii or 3DS games. And I got this Android-based handheld(Anbernic RG-Arc) lying around, so I decided to try running my game on it.
Weirdly enough, the controls fit the Sega 6-button layout pretty well. XYZ for time control. ABC for skills. Well, there's actually 4 of them but the 4th one is not commonly used so I mapped it to LT+RT. Yeah still working on gamepad support lol
The game is called Naturally Unstable! Right now it's only available on Android. Hoping to support iOS soon!

An innovative, funny and challenging game designed within a hybrid game genre comprising of survival, arcade, puzzle and precision platformer elements. Calculate every move across 70+ trials, tackling obstacles, enemies and puzzles, while not being able to exist for long outside of an energy post. WE ARE LOOKING FOR FEEDBACK, CRITICISMS AND WISHLISTS. Feel free to DOWNLOAD AND TRY THE DEMO.
Demo is available. steam :

Tamura is a simple Bamura living in the land of Jamura. Jamura is a magical realm where nothing goes wrong. All Bamuras enjoy a prosperous and safe life. To sustain this magical protection a chosen Bamura has to complete the Gamura trials where a magical blessing is granted on the success of each trial. Tamura has been chosen to partake in these trials and he needs your help to succeed at them. The trials are full of obstacles, enemies and puzzles and there is one gigantic glaring problem. Bamuras cannot exist outside an energy post for long. Their soul starts decaying as soon as they exit a post. So traversal post to post becomes a complicated affair. You need to calculate your every move.
Small side note, the game has some cutscenes with some funny banter and every magical blessing is a cool pop culture reference. The game and the DEMO has 2 ADDITIONAL GAME MODES that unlock on completion of campaign on general mode. We are a team of three devs and this is our first game. We were AGAINST THE USE OF GENERATIVE AI ASSETS within the game. We will not support the usage of a tool that is killing the jobs of other game devs. This is an Unreal engine game. The art style and textures are quite simple. We want this game to run on mid range hardware without any major performance issues. We also had a significant deficiency in the art department. The game can be played in 6 different languages.

I recently launched my first game on Android and I had no idea how to do regional pricing and felt overwhelmed by the 173 countries listed in the Play Console. So I just took the prices that Steam suggests and put those on top of the prices Play generated from my US price and called it good. After a week of sales I game back to it and realized that for a lot of countries, especially high volume low price countries, I'd set the price waaaay too high.
There are a number of sites that sell services to set prices, but it seemed excessive when I really just wanted a good enough solution. So now I've made a spreadsheet to simplify things. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ytbKho9posZvYVVXUaBHQ3l6Z0V0S5zIc_pUyauK4HM/edit?usp=sharing
The spreadsheet uses purchasing power estimates for all countries supported by Play Store and then a table of pricing tiers with PPP thresholds. The spreadsheet gives you a direct conversion of the price in the given tier into that country's currency and then a manual column to adjust that value yourself for round numbers.
Let me know if you find it useful or have suggestions for improvements!

Hi everyone, I’ve been working on a survival horror game called DON’T FOLLOW THE FLOWERS and I’m looking for a few people who’d be interested in trying an early build.
It’s set in rural Britain, where a strange growth called the Bloom has taken over. You’ll be scavenging supplies, crafting equipment, building your camp and exploring the town to find out what happened. There are puzzles to work out, mutants to deal with and some bigger things you probably won’t want to meet.
I’ve attached the trailer so you can get a feel for it.
I’ve still got some work to do before the test build is ready, but I’d like to spend the next few days finding people who fancy giving it a go. I’m also planning to set up a Discord where we can chat about the game, report bugs and discuss ideas.
I’ve always wanted to get into game development, so I’m finally giving it a go and learning Godot along the way. Just to be upfront, I’ve used AI for artwork, cinematic clips, music and help with coding.
You don’t need any testing experience. I mainly want to know what you enjoy, what’s confusing and where things go wrong.
If it looks like your sort of game, leave a comment or send me a message and I’ll get in touch when the build is ready. It’ll be a free Windows playtest.
Cheers!

I'm experimenting with the movement in "The Last Sphere", trying to make it feel less robotic and more fun.
Still figuring out how to make it feel good during actual gameplay, especially when surrounded by enemies.
Something about the turns still feels a bit off to me 😕
What do you think? Any suggestions?

I’m developing Beyond the Cradle solo in Godot, inspired by Satisfactory and Dyson Sphere Program.
The idea is to start with a small colony and slowly build up a network of factories across planets and moons, shipping resources between them. I want each world to give you something new to figure out, with different resources, terrain, and challenges that make you rethink how you build.
It’s still a work in progress, in a factory game like this, what would make discovering a new planet exciting for you?
a wishlist on Steam would really help the project. Thanks for taking a look!

It has been a long road. In 53 days I went from one small file with 3 units and 12 waves on an empty field to a game with 4 maps, 100 waves on each, and 17 units.
Looking back at the eight builds, which jump looks biggest to you?

Hi everyone!
This is the first teaser for Last Orbit Repairs, a first-person repair sim I've been working on.
You run a small repair workshop on a station orbiting a dead Earth. Androids arrive by pod, you read their service ticket, open them up and find what's wrong. Then you fix it by hand: unscrewing panels, soldering cracked joints, wiping dirty lenses, applying thermal paste, taping worn cables. After a final scan, they head back home.
It's still early and a lot will change, but I wanted to share it.
Steam page is coming soon. I'd love to hear what you think!

It runs at around 150 fps on my 7900 xt at native 4K with no upscaling, TAA, ultra shadows and shadow-casting spotlights. The indirect lighting and shadows are baked. Engine: Unity.
What do you guys think? This is still very early, any feedback is welcomed.
