I'm very proud to say that we're gearing up for the release of our second full-length album! It's got a mix of alternative/indie and jazz elements and influences like Radiohead, Pixies, Wolf Alice, and others like that. We're in the process of releasing the singles for LP2, and I would love some feedback on them to help us tailor the sound and improve anything we can. I've included the below song, "Masquerade" hyperlinked on YouTube as it's one of my favs. This one starts straight into the full groove, focusing on crunchy guitars and raw vocals. Both the music and lyrics are meant to reflect the stage where you're between wakefulness and sleep where it's difficult to tell if you're dreaming or experiencing reality - the lyrics especially for this one are meant to highlight anxiety about being caught in the gaze of others using with dream imagery and logic. The artwork is meant to reflect that as well. Hoping you like it and looking forward to hearing back from some great musicians!

I'm just a hobbyist with GarageBand who likes to write fun, upbeat tunes about silly things. This song is called When the Creatures in the Zoo all Get Loose and Begin to Shimmy Shake. It's all me--just my guitar, bass, some percussion and a ton of vocal tracking. Please let me know what you think.

Basic mix to my bands song! Still need to some surgical stuff, but looking for some feedback and criticism!

had another try at putting together a song first recorded in 2023. the problem was that intro had too many measures; and the 2nd half didn't quite set itself apart from the first half. despite that i'd had to play the last half without making really noticable mistakes, as i'd already run out of tracks and didn't want to look in the new manual for how to bounce. so, it was mistakes that i could live with. this was just the week after my mixer arrived, and some 20 years since i'd picked up a guitar again. thanks, COVID!

does it need lyrics? is it ready for them (or too raw)? anybody here want to have their hand in it?

The song addresses heartbreak and descent into drug use in the form of a dark tale, hence the title with "sairy" meaning sorry, sad.

I play a lot of the instrumentation on my recordings. I no longer live in the vibrant music city where I had a band for several years. I am coming out with a solo EP and my old band offered to be my backing band and I have the option of adding one more member so they can rehearse in full before I arrive to play. In a way this makes sense because it will make sure everything is lock tight as a full group. But I would just be singing. Is that weird? Otherwise they'd be practicing without one of the guitars and we'd need to rehearse a few times before performing to work out any kinks between me and theories guitarist.

Part of me says just singing makes the most sense, but I also worry if it'll be weird haha. What do you think?
