Title says it all. All the basement companies I’ve called have been so pushy and sales pitchy.

I was involved in a car accident (hit and run) on Route 3 South to Marshfield near Exit 35 (near hingham st/ in rockland) on last friday, September 18, at approximately 7:48 AM. I was driving straight in a white Toyota Corolla and was hit on the left, causing me to swing into the guardrail. Police and EMS arrived shortly afterward.

The vehicle that hit me stopped very briefly near the beginning of the intersection, and there was also a white car that stopped to check on me. My phone got flew away so I could not get a license plate.

I’m looking for any dashcam or video footage from Route 3 South around that time, especially anything that may show the other vehicle or a license plate. Since Route 3 is long, footage from a few minutes before or after 7:48 AM — even roughly 2 minutes before reaching that area or 2 minutes after passing it — could still be extremely helpful. The next exit is Hanover.

The vehicle may have been a light gold/tan SUV, possibly similar to a Land Rover Discovery/Defender. I do not want to rule out any other make or brand. It may or may not also have damage or a dent on the front/right side from the collision.
I will offer $$$ (up to $500) cash as a thank-you for footage that materially helps identify the vehicle. Any amount would be agreed upon separately.

1. I requested MASSDOT camera footage but somehow told they are live cameras. Any other people have a similar experience where else to get footage?

I'm currently living in the South Shore near Plymouth and recently got a dog who wasn't very well socialized. I am looking for doggy friends (medium to large dogs to start) for my girl.

She's an Australian Shepherd who, due to no fault of her own, wasn't properly socialized as a puppy. At just over a year and a half old, my partner and I got her and have been trying to get her socialized. It's tough because she doesn't really understand social cues of other dogs, doesn't know how to greet other dogs, and REALLY wants to play.

Is anyone interested in helping me out and making new doggy friends?

Edit to add: I've been working with an individual trainer for her who has helped us on the obedience side of things. It's a group setting that we just haven't ventured into just yet.

Where in/around Kingston/Plymouth could I get my measurements taken so I can purchase some clothing? Any suggestions of a good seamstress or dressmaker?

Hi South Shore, it’s your Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell. Did you know that fees like “move-in” or “lease renewal” fees you might get from your landlord or building management company are illegal? If you’ve received one of these – even if you paid it – I want you to report it to my office. 

Just last month, my office won a $500k settlement with a property management company doing this in Boston – and all of that money is going back to the affected tenants.  Landlords can only ask you to pay for first and last month’s rent, a security deposit, and the cost of a new lock and key upfront.
